First look at Okoye!! My opinion so far!!

First, I am so glad she's finally coming to MCOC!! 🤩 I voted for her during the Summoner's Choice 2021, and have tried to wait patiently for her debut. That wait time started to run out and I ended up requesting her, and trying to create a design concept for her, and failing miserably 😅 But a little patience goes a long way and here we are!! 🥳🥳🥳

I think her appearance and animations are spot on and are killing it!! Everything from her fierce expression to her battle ready pose says Wakandan General and "Yibambe!"

Her Specials are done in true Okoye fashion. They are an accurate portrayal of her agility, athleticism, combat prowess, and spear usage. Whew that Sp 2 though!!! 😤😤😤 This is how I imagined them to be! Maybe now is a great time to introduce Okoye, since her fighting scenes in the movies provide some great reference material for her animations.

I sincerely hope that she'll be relevant in all content, and that her damage output will....be....absolutely LETHAL! 😁

    She looks interesting at first i thought nothing special till her spear gave a shock so im hoping she deals both dots as that be interesting for a skill and will see more on stream and when her spotlight drops on weekend on full abilities

    Maybe if bleed immune she inflicts shock instead? Rupture?

    This. We got a busted skill defender last year in Bullseye, plus two bad-mid attackers in Patriot and Silver Sable. We need more new skill attackers and Okoye is probably gonna be one of those. The 7* Skill class is I think currently the weakest because most of the top skill champs are 6* locked (Nick, Kate, Kingpin, Zemo)
    Bullseye is a great attacker too.
    Of course he is, with great utility and decent dps. But we haven’t had a skill pure attacker in a while

    Animation while, she does look awesome.

    Just 2 things that jump on me that I don't understand due to the lack off details.

    1) She seem to block a lot - So I can only assume that is part of her ability (playstyle).

    2) In her fight with Proxima, it look like she got blocked mid way through her combo, would this be an AI issue, Okoye animation issue or did she just finished her combo and I got mistaken.

    But yeah Skill class really need some love this year.

    I think she finished her combo and the ai blocked her next hit. Her specials do have a lot of hits

    Definitely a reverberation counter, something tells me she’s gonna be a rupture/bleed queen, with a **** ton of utility. Excited for her, same with the not so Gentle.

    I noticed the blocking. Could be essential to her kit. I hope intercepting gains her a benefit too since she is a tactician.

    They missed so many opportunites with his buff. I'm still shaking my head at leaving out the heart shaped herb considering that's Black Panther got his power and regen.
