Maybe, I hope they don't keep doing this. It takes out the community interaction, in my opinion.
I don't want this to sound harsher than I mean it...but what community interaction? The last few streams have hardly acknowledged that there is a chat unless they're watching us punch in giveaway codes.
I mean let’s also be real, the chat sucks nowadays, and it was no less true this stream. What chat interaction is there to be had with the horde of bots spamming nonexistent promo codes?

Except for the cameraman focusing on the person not speaking instead of the speaker, and the teleprompt not being in a good position to prevent the hosts' eyes form drifting..I agree somewhat. SOme of these issues (like the eye wandering) was around with Jax.
But also only have 2 hosts instead of 3 -4 made a big difference.
Hopefully this "live" prerecorded stream is a one-off. Better to put it on youtube if it's going to happen like this again.

At least there were existing promo codes that you could enter for a chance to win. It was always fun gambling on winning the giveaway with nothing to actually loose.

I see what you mean, but at the same time there's something that just hits differently when its actually live.
I received an in-game notification about the live-stream, just prior to the start of the live-stream. Seems odd to only notify people so late on, in-game… unless I’m missing something?

Absolutely. But that's also not the only area of their lack of community interaction, which is the real issue.

Absolutely. But that's also not the only area of their lack of community interaction, which is the real issue.
At least you have the real promo codes that are fun to see if you win.

Having two seemingly permanent hosts on there, where a single host with rotating guests was more interesting has nothing to do with Jax IMO.

I don't really care, after the 10th anniversary stream and this "live" stream, from now on I am leaving it running on mute for the drops, and getting my info from the stream recap from now on.

Not to be that guy but at the very start of the stream they said they pre-recorded this one because of the holidays and they wanted to make sure we got a stream giving us the information before the January events start.
