Not only that, you're mad about the "filler" being T6B/T6CC/T3A and you're asking for them again now? LOL this community is too much.
Should there be compensation? Yes, probably
Is it a feeling of entitlement? Let me ask you, as a Valiant player, would you be happy getting 10% T6CC, 250k gold and 3-6 ISO bricks for 300 units?
On the off chance you say yes with a straight face, good for you — nothing in life can bring you down.
I personally got a decent chunk of resources as well, and for the first time, I was able to get a Vision at the highest rarity duped, thanks to the latest Realm milestone update. But I also spent a decent amount of units.
What about the guys who weren’t fortunate enough to reach the highest brackets in the realm event? Imagine 5-10k units gone for a small pile of T6CC, and no pseudo compensation from the adjusted Realm milestones either.
I agree that Kabam is under no obligation to have to please everyone.
But do you disagree that a historic 10 year milestone deserved a bit better?
1) You were not able to rank up a load of champs
2) Compensation is needed for hurt feelings

People know what the odds are, know what they will likely end up with, and make the decision to buy it. At least with the Banquet, that 300 unit purchase contributes to the Milestone climb. With Featured crystals, people buy it just on the hopes that the <2% chance of something good happening, does happen.
You can't ask for compensation if you made the decision to buy something, and received exactly what you were likely to receive.
But what were the quantities?
T6CC, T4A, T6B and T3A fragments all ranged from 10% - 100%
7* shards minimum was 1500 I believe — didn’t pay attention to see the distribution
Titan shards lowest was about 1000 — a player with average luck hitting all the milestones wouldn’t have formed a full crystal.
The point a lot of people are making is, the floor of the crystal was so bad that we could get them for “free” on a weekly basis via other content — that is not worth 300 units.
And it was advertised that 50% (maybe I’m wrong, I heard it in one of the streams I think) of it was filler — most people only ever saw that floor.
While the banquet may have been fine for people who managed to hit all the realm milestones (me being one of them) and enjoyed the “pseudo compensation” via modified realm milestones; people who spent < 10000 units did not benefit from that reconsideration.
Can you imagine the frustration that player would feel? Spending 10000 units for a handful of T6CC and T4A fragments?
You're looking at the 10 year celebration from a SBC viewpoint when it included so much more things.
You are taking away something from the winner if you give the loser the medal.
Regardless of what you may believe, the crystal isn’t taking anything away from people if it gives better rewards to more people.
Moral philosophy aside, I just scored 2-3% in the solo banquet event by just barely hitting the original Realm milestones.
More crystals may be opened by the top ranked players, and you can vigorously wave the flag for Kabam, but is it healthy if the bare minimum qualifies me for this high of a rank?
In previous events this score would’ve landed me a solid 10-25% slot.
I used units to hit the OG realm milestones and only opened free crystals afterwards.
Let’s say there was a great reversal dinner, fantastic banquet the day of and everything was going swimmingly.
And then when the best man was giving a toast, pukes on the couple.
Would you say the wedding was a success or a failure? Are people going to remember everything leading up to the wedding? Or the guy puking on the happy couple?
Did they have fun? Clearly.
Can they wash their clothes? Of course.
So yes, the wedding was a success.
Was your analogy terrible? Absolutely.
