How could kabam “compensate” for low resources on banquet

If they sent out, per 1000 points in banquet event:

2000 7* shards
1000 titan shards
28,500 t6b
22,500 t3a
5,700 t4a
1 t6cc crystal

Oh I doubt there will be, but there should be. Filler being t6b, t3a,t6cc is great. Being valiant for a year and the filler being 5700 fragments of it, awful.

If that was the only thing, no. But it wasn't. I was able to rank up a ton of champs with this event. And no, compensation isn't needed because your feelings are hurt.

Don’t understand the need for personal attacks — but I suppose “happy” is a feeling, so sure.

I personally got a decent chunk of resources as well, and for the first time, I was able to get a Vision at the highest rarity duped, thanks to the latest Realm milestone update. But I also spent a decent amount of units.

What about the guys who weren’t fortunate enough to reach the highest brackets in the realm event? Imagine 5-10k units gone for a small pile of T6CC, and no pseudo compensation from the adjusted Realm milestones either.

I agree that Kabam is under no obligation to have to please everyone.

But do you disagree that a historic 10 year milestone deserved a bit better?

Let me ask you this - would you be happy spending 250-300 units and getting gold, iso bricks, and some 5-star shards from duping your 4-star King Groot?

People know what the odds are, know what they will likely end up with, and make the decision to buy it. At least with the Banquet, that 300 unit purchase contributes to the Milestone climb. With Featured crystals, people buy it just on the hopes that the <2% chance of something good happening, does happen.

You can't ask for compensation if you made the decision to buy something, and received exactly what you were likely to receive.

lol. I’m well over that for points, but even then, with 20k points, that still wouldn’t be insane. That would just be 10 t6b, 10 t3a, 1 titan crystal, etc. wouldn’t be insane at all. I also understand there would/should be a cap. Maybe at 100k points.

Weren't fortunate enough? If you're in a race and you finish 27th because you aren't as fast as the first place winner, do the people who hold the races give you compensation?

You're looking at the 10 year celebration from a SBC viewpoint when it included so much more things.

A race isn’t the same as getting something from a crystal.

You are taking away something from the winner if you give the loser the medal.

Regardless of what you may believe, the crystal isn’t taking anything away from people if it gives better rewards to more people.

Moral philosophy aside, I just scored 2-3% in the solo banquet event by just barely hitting the original Realm milestones.

More crystals may be opened by the top ranked players, and you can vigorously wave the flag for Kabam, but is it healthy if the bare minimum qualifies me for this high of a rank?

In previous events this score would’ve landed me a solid 10-25% slot.

Let’s say there was a great reversal dinner, fantastic banquet the day of and everything was going swimmingly.

And then when the best man was giving a toast, pukes on the couple.

Would you say the wedding was a success or a failure? Are people going to remember everything leading up to the wedding? Or the guy puking on the happy couple?
