Disappointing.. and didn't receive solo banquet rewards yet.

Were the alliance rank rewards based on alliance participation as well? If so, I didn’t have to push for the points that were aligned with the top rank rewards. Placing the rank rewards in the alliance comp was very misleading. At least to me.

Correction: were the alliance rank rewards based on “REALM” participation? If so that should’ve been articulated a lot better. Very misleading.

The point structures for the realm and alliance events were the same, so ‘participation’ in both was the same. What is misleading about that?

    Smashing,super,great;
Let's see what you could have won.
New milestones added when the events finished, decent ones this time
You gave us the "rare" champion selector (put your own descriptive word in place of "rare"),before these rewards, knowing we wouldn't get to these?
People who made the requirements for these rewards should get them as kabam were already giving these people the dud champion selector in their rank rewards

The point structures were the same for all three events. My point is that the alliance event appeared to be a competition among alliance members. Rewards were awarded based on the strongest alliance. That’s what I was referring to Bob! And you’re absolutely right, this was my first year putting more than $50 into the event, because I was under the impression that alliance event ranking would be different. This will be my last year putting over $100 into a game event.

It's shocking to me how often people come here to complain after they spend money not understanding what they're buying.

Is there any way you could extend the basic deal to everyone is some fashion based on progression?

The secret offer to the top spenders really feels like a kick in the pants to everyone else

    750000 Units....
And we got to Talk about what filler in Crystals is obviously

Hello. I'm working on a lengthy Banquet post-mortem for all of you, but I'm just going to go ahead and try to head this one off at the pass now.

The reason the Banquet crystal was unbalanced was 100% on me. Our Live Ops team produced a perfectly balanced tuning for the crystal in which this wouldn't have been a problem. In reviewing it, I counted all T6B/T3A drops as filler, and in an effort to reduce the amount of filler I moved some of those drops to other resources. For most players this wasn't a problem. I personally put up around 100,000 points and finished ~1500th, and for me the imbalance wasn't perceptible.

However in monitoring the event over the break, we realized players at the top were going to put up more points than we expected, and for them it was going to become a real problem. So we did something quick and dirty to help them correct the imbalance. If I could go back in time to before the event I would have thought of something else, but I'm pretty sure players wouldn't have liked the Banquet event more if it had included more T6B/T3A in the crystals.

I personally don't see this as a fairness problem, as I can tell you the difference between my account and these accounts has nothing to do with T6B/T3A. And I don't see it as these players getting to buy T6B/T3A for 10 Units, I see them as getting to buy T6B/T3A for 750,000 Units + 10 Units, which is what somebody had to spend to unlock this offer.

We placed 43; Kabam is supposed to make more milestones.

    Hey Summoners,

We just wanted to take a moment and address some of the concerns around our Banquet event this year as we see some of you are disappointed with the Superior Banquet Crystals in particular.

We wanted to move more of the rewards to the milestones, while keeping 7-star relevant rewards in the crystals as you build up your tracks in the various milestones between solo and alliance-based events. Our intention was to improve the experience over last year's event, and feel we have succeeded in that goal.

That being said, we want to make sure the game team sees and hears you, so please leave your constructive feedback on what you’d like to see changed.

It has been absolutely amazing so far I'm a cavalier player and I got 5 new 7* and 4 6* on rank 4 and pulled Hercules and duped him .
I'm a Cavalier that hit Thronebreaker just a few days ago. The event was not worth the hype. I had 14-15k points in the event, spent almost 100 dollars, the crystals just never dropped anything. The milestone rewards were the big end of the prize pool, but I wasn't incentivized to reach them because reaching them required me to spend 10k units on almost nothing. I pulled 2 and a half of t4 alphas, countless fragments of t5ccs, and the best thing I ever came across on 10k units was a 15k 6 star shards I could've gotten in 10 days just by grinding. Now do not get me wrong, I did get 7 stars and some good 6 stars from the events, which I feel happy for. But seeing how everyone says we get the better end of the rewards comparatively, I feel that might have been a little biased. We get a lot of useless material. It seems 90% of the crystals are fragments, and the rest 9% are t4 alphas or 1k titan shards or paragon crystals. The realm events are again progression based, so had I not spent money/units on a ton of crystals I would've been stuck with an abyss selector and some catalysts. I definitely feel that this event was much more terrible for Paragons and above, I just personally think it is unfair they're getting the same stuff as us. Why does a Valiant need 15k 6 star shards?
