Banquet experience and thoughts.

The Grand Banquet. A lot, if not the majority of players, disliked this year's banquet. And I see why. As a fairly new Paragon, this event helped, more than I thought. But there were many things I did not like about this event.

1. The lack of information.
-Like many people, I relied on YouTube for info on Banquet. Many videos regarding the event said you need at least 9k for some good rewards. At that time I only had about 2k units. So like many people I grinded arena for some extra units. But little did I know, you needed way more than that for some reasonably good rewards.

2. The timing
-The Grand Banquet was held right after the Hunters Market. (With all due respect was absolute trash.) The timing of this event, and it being held right before Banquet was terrible. I didn't participate in this event because I knew it wasn't worth it, and saved my units for the "Grand" Banquet.

3.The drop rewards.
-Don't get me wrong, these drop rates for a fairly new Paragon were good. But the amount they give is the problem. The chances to get something good was low, and needed to get more crystals in order to have a chance to get them. Especially the drop rates on the T4a. How am I supposed to get Valiant if I can't get above 4k T4a fragments? (I got an approximate 4.2k from 38 crystals) That's my point. I can't get Valiant with these types of drop rates.

4.The Milestones (Mainly Solo)
-The solo event had some decent milestone rewards. But barely, if any, actually helped. Look, I get it. You need to lower the rewards for the lower level players. But why not make them progression based? That way, we all get what we NEED, and can actually enjoy the rewards. -The Alliance Milestones. Not bad, got to get a key and got DPX, no complaints. -The Realm Event Milestones. Oh boy, this is were it gets crazy. First things first, why do I have to spend so much to get any of the rewards I actually NEED? I can get these rewards for the Battlegrounds and Glory store. That's why it's missing. The diversity. The same rewards I can get from just playing the game basically. The same drops, I can get for less cheaper.

I was Cavlier so for me its good, but for paragon and valiant players it was trash due to drop rates

Yeah, I do see your point. But the main objective of these event are for people to 1. Spend their money, and 2. To progress with the rewards. I took the opportunity to see if I can get items and materials to help me get Valiant.

Grand banquet being right after hunters market (cyber weekend or whatever it's usually called) is the same thing every single year.
They have always been within a short time frame of eachother.

However, nice post. Nice to see something actually constructive rather than just a bunch of screaming and crying.

Ps: the banquet sucked. 😅

Yeah, I do see your point. But the main objective of these event are for people to 1. Spend their money, and 2. To progress with the rewards. I took the opportunity to see if I can get items and materials to help me get Valiant.

The milestones and the little t4a I got from the crystals were enough to get my paragon alt 2 7r3s. Which got me to start act 8 and get valiant. So probably successful for that account in this regard.

Paragon and TB definitely had a good time.

Im a newer paragon. I agree I could use the t6cc, but in the amounts given for nearly every crystal was kinda pitiful, as in it wasnt any better than what i could get from doing BG regularly. At the amount given the drop rates should have been more balanced with the other rewards.
I know its all RNG and I still came out with some decent champs and needed gold. Had the crystals been better I was prepared to spend some but chose not to as they weren't worth it to me.
If anything I will think harder about using my units for other events this next year. They have had some good events this last year so it would have been nicer for the final event to be better but it is what it is. It was a good year for me with the game after looking back so looking forward to what's next. Hopefully they will pay attention to the feedback, there has been alot discussed.

My Uncollected alt account was greatly benefited by the banquet. I easily got Cavalier on that account today because of it. My main was not having such a great time tho.

Yeah, I guess what I'm trying to say, is at least hold the cyber weekend, or Banquet for a bit longer.

I completely agree. I had the same experience. And hopefully they do listen to our feedback.

I wish that was the same for me. But I'm glad you got Valiant! I'm sure there were some people that got Valiant, or at least higher progressions, and I'm happy for them.
