I saw a line from Serpent against the Shuri boss this month. It said, "the world is mine!" or something close. He said it while activating his Sp1. I didn't catch it in time though
There are multiple types of triggers that these callouts can have throughout the fight. Some happen before the main fight begins, these are the "intro" callouts, such as the ones posted above. Some happen at or near the start of the fight, such as Mr. Fantastic and Doom, and Namor and Doom's lines. These are "start of fight" triggers. Other triggers are caused by actions taken within the fight, and are thus usually much harder to find. Some of these triggers, like Rogue SP1 vs Mojo, trigger every time without fail, but others can take hundreds of battles to find, such as Galan's line when starting a harvest, Jack dropping his seeds when knocked down, or Hercules declaring that it is time for righteous smiting whenever he uses his SP1.
A rather subtle callout with Spiral, who appears before entering the battle area. This is an easter egg on a quote from Spiral from the comic "X-Factor Annual #7" (1986) (and no, don't write about the fact that Shroud was mentioned here, which means he was already the winner of the SC25)
Still trying to recreate one i had between horseman toad and mantis, but it's kind of hard to set that one up since she isn't a defender in a ton of places.
