The end of gifting seems like a perfect time to ask this question

It’s theoretically possible to go straight from Thronebreaker to Valiant. The proliferation of 7-stars would seem to increase the chances of that happening.

Has there been a documented case of someone going from Thronebreaker straight to Valiant?

    Is that the # of 7* champs for Valiant, while NOT having the similar # of 6* champs for Paragon ?

    There was a long discussion a while back about that possibility, don’t think anyone had done it back then yet.

    They would still need to complete the content associated with the progression title the changes to the lower titles where you could rank up a certain amount of champions to a rank or do the content and whatever rank ups where required. I currently have a mini that has two rank 3 with no rank 5 6* champions because simply to save resources

    For low level progression title you can get it without doing content. You can just rank champs

    But for Paragon and Valiant, you need both.

    Wouldn't it be possible if you had 2 7* rank threes and completed the necessary quests to get Valiant before completing the 3 6* rank fours?

    A throne breaker from this event would have been able to get the t4 catalysts from the realm/solo/alliance events to get the r3's if they saved up enough units. So if they already had 2 r3's, finished the necessary quests (8.3 I think?) then finally ranked up their last 6* to r4, they would get paragon and at the same time valiant. So while they technically don't skip paragon, they still never spent any time as a paragon

    As for other remark about Contender, Proven, Conqueror, etc. Those (I don't think) have double-requirements (champs + quests), so in those cases would be impossible. But that doesn’t mean the TB to Valiant would thus also be impossible because those others are.

    Pretty sure at the beginning Kabam said it should be theoretically possible to skip paragon, but from what I hear, you don't get Valiant unless you have Paragon first.

    This event was great for anyone below valiant. My uncollected account spent 2k units and is now a few daily super events away from TB. Glad we don't need story progression for that.

    That seems to be the case. I'm pretty sure I was told it was likely possible long ago, but recent internal discussions suggest that it is more likely to be impossible, and apparently some players have tested this to confirm. This will become increasingly interesting as it becomes more likely players will invest in 7* champs over 6* champs and fail to make the proper prerequisite rank ups without realizing they are necessary, and have to backfill to compensate.

    Definitely not. Especially act 6.

    Anything after act 5 is highly node dependent, auto fight will struggle to bypass protections, that life cycle node amongst others.

    So basically they think it only tests for valiant progress once paragon is reached? If that’s the case, I’d love to see a 2 for 1 of someone doing a 6r4, becoming paragon then immediately valiant.
