I used Deadpool X-Force on King Groot. Worked pretty well given his SP2/SP1 rotation damage

Tigra is pretty good as she deals physical damage, and she will completely avoid that sp2 and with the root mechanic node, she will easily be able to do multiple heavy attacks to gain those ruptures.

Doesn't need to be a mystic. I did it with Silk. As long as the attacker does physical damage and not energy damage, you should be fine.

Scream is a good option. Apply 2x armour break as he's bleed immune. SP2 shreds him

Powered through with Angela - sig lets you ignore the incinerates, just dex the L1 and wear him down.

That's why I originally picked him.
It was just a longer fight due to energy damage on his special 1. Overall easy fight though.

Basically you just gotta go in there and physically beat on him? a way to not rely on debuffs he may shrug, something about the incinerates, and keep him to the sp1. that’s it.
seen a walkthrough w/ KP, imagine Xbones would be awesome, probably Silk (outrace the incinerate, and too many debuffs to shrug them all).
@Feuerschwer nailed it, though, Angela was a long steady beat down for him, felt almost graceful. longer it went, harder she hit. beauty and the beast (beauty won).
bonus points, if you can survive a sp1 to the dome, catch a perm armor break for Willpower. if you need it.

Angela is legit my cheat code for a lot of annoying nodes. Nullify? DOT debuffs? Autoblock? None of them matter as soon as I have three buffs active, and the Thor relic lets me get there on my first crit.

I used Shocker, class disadvantage and all. Just needed any high rank champ I had who doesn't deal energy damage.

Went back in for the objective…..dragon man is great just spam sp1s and def sp1s
