    Although to be fair (until things started to turn nasty), Announcement at top of post here just says..
    *As compensation players will receive a package of rewards based on the number of remaining days of Summoner’s Sigil access they have at the time of the transition.

    So people didn’t realize that “time of transition” didn’t just mean any days still remaining on their Sigil as of the 27th, if Announcement here is the only thing they go back and re-read.

    Without going back to in-game “Updates” messages tab to see it really was gonna be placed on hold (and transition comp) based from the 13th.

    Probably very common though, you may have even read that in-game initially, but not think anything of it, until later when you see it affected you in game somehow you didn’t realize.

    Personally, I wasn't expecting to have Arena Express available during the transition period, since this is part of the Sigil package. But, the fact that it was already announced, doesn't make it right, it s not a situation where you can do something about it, be prepared in some way for it, it s not that we play arenas a certain week each month and we ll re arrange out time schedule to have this week during Sigil days.

    Plus, if we consider the compensation plan, and having in mind that this week, only yesterday actually, Test of the....-insert your progression level here- was active, we get double the units, in most common scenario, having a few days left on Sigil purchase (compensation covers 2 weeks of solo "Test". But again, this compensation cannot cover something that s RNG (battlechips crystals) and QoL for Arenas. You cannot price a time ...what s the word? "aspect".

    So in conclusion I agree, Arena Express mode should be stayed available for everyone, and yes, it is indeed a very good and catchy advertisement for the new Sigil format, for those who haven't tried it yet.

    So I spent in the banquet to get to Valiant progression for the sigil rewards and now sigil rewards for Valiant are practically the same as rewards a Paragon player will get in the new store.

    He spent in banquet (not long ago) to become Valiant and get sigil rewards that actual Valiants have been complaining for a while, if anything this is a better situation for him...

    I see a lot of people talking about how arena is going to be longer now that arena express is gone and I'm with you. I do arena for the milestones and battlechips. I plan out when to do it every week and work around my schedule with work and family ( when the kids are asleep). But remember you avid grinders, they said our time doesn't matter. Don't expect an answer from them. They are going to stay quiet these situations. Communication has been lacking lately.

    It was mentioned on an in game message on the 6th of January which is after most people would have purchased it for the month. It’s also missing for the forum post despite the in-game message telling summoners to come to the forums for ‘full details’.

    In December at some point there was a type of in game pop up that said the sigil was going to be revamp ‘at some point in the future’ - no mention of January the 13th.

    Bottom line is this decision to refresh and remove the sigil wasn’t made on the 6th of January. They could have and should have made it explicitly clear in December before the majority of sigil players decided to buy another month for January.

    The compensation package for those missing out does not cover the benefits lost.

    Yes… the offer tends to appear days before expiration. This allows the days to stack up. I just renewed it every time and it was released in 2022. The offer to purchase would appear the 3rd week of the most recent purchase. And I think this is the case of the reappearance of the offer is mainly dependent when the summoner purchases (which the date is different per the time when they originally signed up).

    So, 5-6 days left per month over almost 2 years of purchasing adds up… and I purchased it whenever I saw it was available.

    It is just how the offer would appear before expiring that caused such a build up. I always looked at it as a cushion should I decide not to buy the offer and still get the benefits. So, should money be tight, I can just cut that expense and still get the benefits. However, I never ran into that issue and the time just kept stacking. Lol

    Not the only reason, because I was looking for an upgrade to rewards in general, and to raise my roster up from where they were, Sigil being one of the ways to get slightly better/cheaper items and rewards, however after this update release, I don’t see much incentive for Paragon players pushing Valiant because valiant rewards are not (IMO) worth what you get in return for this updated subscription.

    I for one will miss discounted 6* feature crystals which are easier to come by than newer 7* champs or dupes.

    I believe the current Sigil is just going to go away, and with it any banked time. The compensation package is intended to mostly offset the fact that time is just going away.

    I believe the renewal always triggered 23 days after the last time you bought it, with the intent of triggering a week before it would expire (each purchase granted 30 days). But because you could bank time if you renewed immediately, and the trigger kept pushing out 23 days after purchase and not seven days before expiration, you could gain seven days every 23. I have 375 because I did not do this perfectly optimally (I just renewed when I noticed) but in theory the limit for a player who did this from the start and renewed religiously the moment the offer triggered could have banked about 600 days by now.

    Also, just another quick question…. Anyone know if the countdown timer for my current sigil subscription paused when the sigil got took down? Because as it stands, I have 31 days left and would fall into the 3rd compensation bracket, whereas if the current sigil continues to countdown until sigil 2 goes live, I will only have 24 days left placing me in compensation Tier 2…… bit poor to lose out when my timer counts down to something I don’t have access to….

    This is why Kabam doesn’t think and they lose players. It’s off now and can’t renew. My sigil expired. Now I have stuff going to expire. I know they won’t reply to this because they really don’t care, but I’ll just spend less because they really don’t think. Not the brightest

    You don't have anything that will expire, the stash limit didn't change....
