Void doing void stuff

So I was testing out unduped piggy and sig40 void (both r1 atm), to decide on my next r3.

I was trying them out on the AoA gauntlet to see how they performed. Both managed to take ~10% off of tigra before dying. Then I looked over to the right, f*** it let's try them against jabari. It's not a favourable matchup for any science champ tbh, but I had time to kill so why not?

To my surprise, I guess I wasn't familiar with void's game, he almost managed to solo that jabari fight as an unboosted r1 science champ. First attempt too.



Kinda wild. I had a hard time with that fight even when I was using my r3 sinister and r5 ascended onslaught.

I'm pretty sure he fits 3 objectives (villain + saga + science/mystic/cosmic), so he could be a decent option.

For this fight: Just spam sp1s, while trying to push jabari to sp2s (her sp1 ensnare messes with his debuffs converting to fear of the void passive). Once you have fear and petrifies up, he can reverse her block regen. Willpower healing is huge here to mitigate that block dmg. Jabari also gets heal block and armor break debuffs on her from a node, so it further boosts his dmg.

All that to say, my next r3 has been decided. B)

    He’s good but not Spider goat good. Spam is way better than void, a much better defender and does multiple times more damage than void. Don’t get me wrong, void is good. Not spam good, but good.

    Aren't they very different champs? Hard to compare the two.
    I look at Void as first and foremost the most reliable reverse healer in the game. There may be others, but none that I know, lol...

    I'm not saying he's better than spam though.

    I can take spam to r2 which is perfectly fine for what I need from him. I'm not huge into BGs so r2 spam should be good enough for other content.

    I realized I liked playing void more. Maybe also a bit of nostalgia reignited in me lol (4* void was my mvp back in the day).

    The new reverse healer GOAT is the leader with his green door apparently.

    Void is a different beast from spam. He's just a very sure damage champ

    In the hands of the players Void is still a top attacker (depending on the content). But when the AI uses him as a defender his utility is reduced significantly in my opinion.....

    Void and spam are two different champs. Spam is the one you use daily everywhere, but there are stuff in game which only void can handle.

    That one act 8/9 claire boss. Forgot where she was.

    Voids is always love. It's painful to see my unduped void. I just want him duped, sad boy is unduped for over 1.5 years now.
