Isn't there another giant thread where people are complaining about the exact opposite issue, i.e., that the game doesn't account for the specific high-end needs of valiants and instead offers them the same rewards as lower progression players?

Well if you put the two opposite demands together, you get this: "As Valiants, we want all of the rewards that are offered to lower progression players, but also valuable high-end rewards that are not available to lower progression players. Basically, we want everything."

So? What’s the problem?
We have access to earlier story chapters, lower difficulties, lower level side quests, etc. It’s our choice to complete that content if we want those rewards, only thing that we have no option to get is t1 dust

The other valiants who are arguing about things they want that are high value don’t speak for me, my man.

Criticising my thread because of the demands of others isn’t fair.

I wouldn't say I was "criticizing" your thread. Just thinking about the overall picture and the combination of what Kabam hears from this forum.
Also, as a Valiant myself, I'm not opposed to getting everything, both lower progression rewards and unique high-end stuff. But it might end up being overwhelming if everything was piled into the game for us like that. It's already pretty cluttered looking for stuff.

I’ve been sitting on 50 tier 1 dust for I can’t even remember how long waiting, for the opportunity to ascend another 5 star and it does feel like that’s never going to happen at this point and that’s… disappointing

Now, don’t get me wrong: I am NOT saying this should change. It’s the way the game is built. We all know how it works. I am NOT complaining about what I am about to say:

But what is weird about it — to me, to be clear — is that if you’re Paragon/Valiant, you’re still opening crystals with 4/5 stars in them.

Before someone jumps down my throat: I am NOT saying that should change. Paragon and Valiant crystals are totally fine and changing those would break the game economy, and I understand that.

What I am saying is this: If you give some Paragon/Valiant players 4-stars and 5-stars, SOME OF US are actually going to use them.

We’re going to test them. Mess around with them. See what the Sig ability looks like, how it scales.

My point being: 4-stars and 5-stars are part of the game. We still get them as part of the game — and AGAIN, I am NOT saying that should change. The game has worked the way it does for a long time. I am not complaining about that.

All some of us are saying is that because we do get 4/5-stars as part of the game, we just would like the ability to ascend them on at least some kind of predictable basis that we can see and earn, in-game.

That’s all — I am not saying it has to be 10,000 T1 dust every month. I don’t think anyone is saying that.

It’s just when it’s zero, again, it’s just hard to understand why it has to be “zero.”

That’s why I’m rallying pretty hard for this, I’ve even asked support and they asked me questions about where exactly in the game should they distribute t1 dust and I suggested if there is some kind of selector we get as a reward from side quest that lets us choose lesser tier rewards, that would be great.

Or even as a path reward on a lower threat level quest.

Love the call out here! It would be great to see more ascension dust overall in the game. It seems to be easier to R3 7*s than to ascend 5* or 6* for Valiant. Seems to be counter-intuitive to all of the work that was partaken in creating/developing the ascension process.

Even if we can’t or won’t get more of the lower level resources, it would be nice to understand why.

If there is no plan to allow us to ascend all of our low level characters, than please revisit the visual system. For completionists, it is terribly bothersome to see so many people that are no longer maxed out because they need to be ascended, but then there is not a reasonable method to acquire the necessary materials to ascend them.

Please just give us our stars back if we can’t get dust regularly.

Yeah I never had the opportunity to take Starky to max rank for the CCP challenge and no way I’m doing that challenge without him max and sig 200 - which is why it would be nice to have the 5 star sig stones back SOMEWHERE

I'd like to ascend my SS AND run the boosts haha.

If you can get an admin to even look at this thread I will be amazed, I tried tagging them and they ignored me, but support listened and said they would pass my request onto the game team directly, that's why support are the best.

Not sure how it's cheating, sure it makes summoner trials arena a bit faster but it still takes many hours to get the milestones.

Lol what? Cheating? How is using an in-game feature cheating? By that logic, using 6r5a champs in the featured arena is also cheating?or their equivalent 7r2. And God forbid I use my 7r3's to cheese and cheat in the featured arena. Nobody at Kabam is backing you up on that buddy.

Kabam may prefer that it wasn't happening; but there's a lot of distance between "something Kabam would rather people don't do" and "something which is cheating".

First post but I would really like to know this as well. It's part of the game and even though I'm now higher progression I still skipped a lot of 5* ascension. Only Magik and Warlock are I think. 4* I have been ascending for arena because it takes forever even if you enter the infinite streak.

I'm disgruntled with a lot of what Kabam has been doing recently tbh and didn't even know it was unavailable to my progression level until today for the T1 dust. Maybe they could balance it somehow if they are concerned about arena or something. Maybe only x PI or X progression level can fight in arena against each other. Or anyone above TB has to fight TB or above champs/ rosters or something idk.

I do wonder if that is an issue. I do remember having very limited roster and absolutely grinding arena summoner trials to try and get the units and 4* hero crystal. Like just to be first in it one time I was going for days and only just getting past the 4.4mil points/ enough to get max units. I was always treading water unit wise having to buy energy and couldn't understand how people were progressing/ not running out of energy.

I found out since I wasted loads of units on energy when now people get 70 from level 25. I spent a very long time grinding venom chapter monotonously just to level up my energy / mastery points and didn't get 70 until level 60. I should have had 70 energy way before as it was a long time ago it changed supposedly but no I was stuck with 40 something for a while.

Anyway, I hope this changes. If they wanted to protect lower rosters or something then maybe I could understand a bit and keep say Cavalier and below to themselves maybe. Or they could allocate resources elsewhere. The game economy is weird enough anyway. Things become more expensive as you buy more of them. Kinda weird when bulk buying irl is cheaper. Not that this is real life but they basically use inflation like with the unit spend required for banquet.

I really feel like Kabam doesn't understand many work and can't grind hours and hours and hours a day. There's so much to do and it becomes hard for them I imagine so saving time is very important to many. Anyway, not to be too negative but I don't like where this is going and find myself getting more and more frustrated with the game, especially the summoner sigil business which I'll say really annoyed me and save to another topic.

Well that’s just unethical straight up. I’ll be buying the Sigil but that’s not the point, at least give us enough at once to upgrade a champ
