It’s not really satisfactory and I’d still love my old account back (even though my new one has almost surpassed it). But I’ve tried everything I can think of to contact Kabam and get them to reconsider. It either gets ignored or they repeat the same message, so at this point it’s no longer productive to keep pushing it, or I absolutely would.

In terms of closure, Kabam decided I have cheated using third party software and I firmly hold the position that I did not. I doubt we are going to get a response on here and if we ever do it won’t be evident of anything, rather a repeat of the same message they’ve been saying. So for those seeking an answer, I’d say make your own mind up about it. I have a feeling what most of you will conclude from this, but I’m not easily offended, so it’s all good.

And having poor memories for something that happened in recent months

Kabam banned your account bcos they detected some cheating using third party software and it's a permanent ban, not a temporary suspension so Kabam must have some concrete evidence

I’ve had an alt account I hadn’t used in years still be active when they were giving out free champs last month. I don’t think they close accounts for inactivity.

Kabam will occasionally free up names tied up in inactive accounts, but then they just become unnamed accounts or some generic name. They do not close or delete accounts for any period of inactivity that I am aware of.

Even if they did close or delete an account (there are ways to request an account be permanently deleted) it would not show up as banned. A closed account would show as closed for some generic reason, and by definition an account that is deleted cannot show up as banned. It would simply not exist at all.

It seemed very odd to me that someone with that strength account would get insta-banned when they didn’t seem to have attempted any of the obvious insta-ban content, so I took an interest. I asked if they would take a look just to make certain.

As it turns out, this was not an insta-ban. This was a multiple-strike ban.

I seen enough of players who say they din do anything wrong and lie to everyone in the forums and say they are innocent (trust me, I'm innocent, I din cheat)

When in fact they are hiding key information about whatever they did and they ask for help in getting their account back (I demand my account back bcos I'm an entitled self righteous individual)

I have never believed in any of their story from day 1, I wonder why anyone would believe in these cheaters (Liars are everywhere)

And Kabam staff have to spend their precious time to prove that they lied and they cheated

I even proved he lied by checking his account and finding a title from crystal cleansing realm event (I din login for years proven to be a lie)

A couple things:

First, in the vast majority of cases where people claim they were falsely banned, they were unquestionably lying. If you choose to believe everyone is lying about it, you’ll be right almost every time. However, there have been a few rare exceptions, so I try to keep an open mind. In my experience, people are just too weird to be 100% predictable. Yes, they cheat and they lie in incredibly odd manners. But every once in a while they can look really guilty because they are weird, but not because they are actually guilty.

Second, by policy I never explicitly advocate for anyone to get their accounts back. If I suspect something is up, I will ask Kabam to review the situation. However, I don’t vouch for anyone, nor do I request the devs to do me any favors in this area. All I ask is they take a second look, if the evidence justifies doing so, or say the evidence is overwhelmingly positive if it is not. I have no influence in this area beyond that, nor do I want any. I consider the judgment of the fair play team final.

Lastly, I believe in the tenth man rule. When everyone is sure, I think there should be one last person willing to take one last look.

But yes, we believe DNA3000 as he has shown himself highly reputable and does have a more direct line of communication to Kabam than most of us do.
