Really didn’t expect a self destructing champion in 2025

Honestly built in recoil is such a turn off majority of the playerbase (I am telling this based on opinions I heard here and general reception to Ihulk). This makes him bad in both offence and defence.

Adding to all this he has like 0 regen in his kit, for an unstoppable based character with self destructing specials he should have some regen in his kit. He meditates after his matchup is done, they could have given him some regen which says if he wins a match gains 10% health in next match.

It has been so long we got a mutant a with regen, last I remember is Toad.

    I expect the Psychotherapy synergy (almost certainly with a new version of Jean Grey) will address that in some way.

    Edit: Never mind. Looks like it won't unless it comes from the Jean Grey side. That was a massive missed opportunity, Kabam.

    I think the idea is cool on paper since it's true to his character but in execution without anything to balance it out it doesn't work that well.

    Give him a new relic (whenever new relics come out) where every so often he regens a certain amount. I haven't used him before, but hopefully this will solve the problem?

    People that think I hulk is bad are simply wrong lmao.

    His damage is supposed to be mitigated by the sig or the option of not using the last daunted. He's not some self destruct button like everyone is making him out to be

    Agree, the tradeoff damage isn't worth it, most new mutants do more without the drawback

    Sinister relic gives a bleed to mutants through which they can heal but gentle don't benefit from it cause bleed immune.

    He doesn't take extra recoil if you have recoil, it just increases the potency of his daunted. Maybe read his kit before calling him terrible when I assume you haven't played him

    If you use a light ending combo to remove one muscle mass you won’t take recoil. If the sp2 at max mass kills the opponent, you won’t take recoil

    Nightcrawler does instant bleeds, maybe monkey also? I'm less familiar with his kit. Plus it's not like there aren't a bunch of different nodes that can give other characters with bleeds an evade, or one's with evade a bleed.

    Please take a look at this video, he is taking double damage with recoil. Of course I don’t have him, would love to test him tho.

    I have re read his kit, it says he don’t benefit from recoil mastery but it is not mentioned that he won’t take recoil damage from mastery.

    Ronin is literally the only champion on that list that will bleed you through block. Ideally you don't want to be taking hits, especially in Bgs or AW where Bullseye is an annoying defender.

    So you need an evade node and a tenacity node to access this, seems like an extremely niche thing to find.
