MCOC Champ wish list based on Characters that need updates to their kits:
Honourable Mention: Moon Knight
- Given Mr. Knight won this years summoner choice I would hope that Moon Knight is up for a kit upgrade to make him more viable in the contest. Could use a pre-fight mechanic to select which personality you use in the fight that grants different buffs or has a similar effect to Omega Sentinel where the buffs can rotate by way of a different mechanic. Would also love a cosmetic update to Moon Knight. Could go with MCU Moon Knight but I don’t mind his present look, just need him looking cleaner & to have better animations.
Batroc The Leaper (Skill) Captain America (both Classic & WWII)
- I’m a big Batroc fan, so seeing him enter the contest would be great. Especially for the sake of adding more rogues for Captain America & his related champs.
- Cap’s OG champs need a buff & different mechanics. They’re way too similar & both suck. Honestly would love to see Cap Classic with the wings on his cowl as well as more pronounced scales on the costume. For WWII he should be using a sidearm in combat since he was in active combat. Would also love to see added synergy boosts for the OG Cap’s.
Nightmare (Mystic) Doctor Strange (classic)
- Nightmare is another Rogue for Dr. Strange but honestly I think there needs to be more villains in the contest. We have way too many heroes in my opinion in terms of heroes:villains ratios. Plus, given the fear mechanic that now exists with Serpent it would be another user of the mechanic.
- Doctor Strange is the “Sorcerer Supreme” he honestly should be near the peak of the Mystic class. Or at least a reasonable support Champ with unique synergy boosts or something that sets him up to be more useful. I think his animations are fine but a bit of model polishing couldn’t hurt as well.
Hydro-Man (Science) Electro
- Hydro-Man brings a unique water based champ into the contest. We have Atlantean champs but could definitely use more water champs. Honestly another Spider-Man rogue; however Spider-Man has the best rogues gallery in all of Marvel & should get more of them added to the contest.
- Electro needs a serious overhaul. I think he should have a better designed model cause the current design is ugly as hell. Either Ultimate or Classic would be light years better. Also, given he’s practically a living battery all electric attacks should be immune & boost his power meter or something making him a lightning/shock champ counter for champs like Storm, Thor, Jane Foster, Infamous Iron Man, etc.
Lizard (Science) Rhino
- Lizard is one of the most requested champs going right now. Why he hasn’t been added is beyond me. He opens the door for more Sinister Six teams, more animal like champs, & overall a visually appealing/dynamic champ.
- Rhino just needs a little extra to put him into viable territory. Like making him more of an offensive tank with some resistances & better damage output like bleeds or ruptures with that horn of his. Just needs a little more to be useful.

There are probably loads more but these are what I thought up during my dump.
In my opinion, this topic has long turned into a garbage dump and it's time to either recreate it with 4.0, or limit the wishes of some. Just because breaking into the chat, some people arrange wild spam from a bunch of pictures in one post, which makes it much more difficult to view the topic. + here, many proposals have already gone around the 85th circle, and many characters have already been added.

New forums, new Character Wishlist thread Just as a reminder, our rules:
Character requests are still a very frequent topic of conversation within our community, and with good reason - there are a ton of amazing Marvel characters in their universe.
The old Character wish list thread was ballooning a bit, and several characters requested in that thread have since been added to The Contest. We're starting up a new thread to house these discussions so that they can continue, but in a more up to date manner.
A few FAQ's:
1) Why haven't you added (X character) yet?!
A: there are so many characters we want to add, but simply haven't gotten to yet. A character's lack of presence in the Contest currently does not necessarily mean that we've overlooked them or that we don't already have them on our radar. Our teams have a finite amount of time in order to produce content, and we'd love to bang characters out quicker - but still need to maintain realistic developer cadences.
2) We need more female characters and more diversity.
A: Our own team is quite diverse itself, and we agree that representation is an important concern!
3) Why do you bother adding (X re-skinned character) when you've not even had a chance to add (x character not in The Contest)?
A: While some people are not a fan of character re-skins, MANY of our players are. The Marvel universe is one with a lengthy lore, and almost every beloved character has gone through some sort of costume change or shift at some point in their super-powered careers. These differences offer a good opportunity to re-introduce players to content they may not have managed to obtain the first time around, and allowing new players to pick up a certain champion while still keeping things a bit fresh. Our goal is to have a healthy balance between release types.
4) Can you confirm if a requested character is going to be released?
A: The short answer is no. We have specific timelines regarding when we can announce content, and that means that we can't pop in to say 'hey, that person is coming!'. For those wanting to keep on top of our latest announcements or teases, following our Twitter and Facebook accounts are your best shot. We also have an Instagram account that you should follow.
