For crystals such as PHC, Cav, Paragon etc that offer higher rarities at lower drop rates, do you think a pity system with guaranteed highest rarity at X amount of pulls be a good idea for the game?

I noticed a lot of other popular gacha games had the mechanic and I thought it was kind of cool, so why not have it in this one? I suppose big spenders could abuse it though to get heaps of guaranteed pulls.
The crystals cost 300 units. After you open 29 valiant crystals, if you haven’t received a seven star, you are guaranteed a random seven star from whatever the pool is. So 9000 units to get any seven star. And the same logic applies to whoever the featured champ is, except it scales up to the 200th crystal? So 60,000 units?
If I have that right, this seems beyond niche in its appeal.

I've seen a lot of games using the pitty system. It actually motivates people to spend a realistic amount of money, but in my opinion spending 60k units for a guaranteed featured champ (if you're unlucky enough) it's just waaaay too much. I know it's a game and no one it's forcing us to buy that stuff, but man, they really put the value of a 7* mobile game character as the same as a ps5, switch and xbox combined
