For me, I’m wondering how Zola’s specific special lock will work against certain champs like Enchantress, Isophyne, Bullseye (will he be a good bullseye counter?), etc

He doesnt ignore evade no? Because if u sp1 lock him u would have to take his counter attack everytime could work but dont think its worth it enchantress maybe actually be good but u be getting hit by sp3 as her sp2 is only unlocked after uses 2 sp1s as a defender isophyne who even sees her on defense

If we’re looking for some solid counters, my first thoughts (of 7* champs) would be:

Adam Warlock, Angela, Gamora, Gladiator, Hyperion, Medusa, Nova, Serpent, maybe Sersi, maybe SIM, Aarkus, and maybe Vox.

Worth noting that his immunity to having his ability accuracy and combat power rate altered counters Aarkus and Medusa’s armor shatter effects. Which is rude, since I have both of them at r3

He’ll still work in the same way he works against standard, non-robot defenders. He just won’t get his extra utility that he gets against most robots

Medusa relies on crits right? Zola reduces crit penetration by 80% also she can't bleed Zola.

Adam might work, but you can't heavy often with Adam. If you rely on big specials like SIM or Sersi you are out as well.

I mean, the crits are definitely good. But Medusa with 6 furies, armor shatter, and Thor relic is still gonna put up good numbers. Won’t be ideal, but she’s a damage monster these days.

Whats confusing about arnim is the max health single source it says sp3 ignores it yet u get a 90% cowardice so is sp3 gonna actually be affected actually?

But after the sp3 he gets a potent fury buff, so his basics will hit hard even if they won't crit. Not the best option, but could work.

They will be capped, you can still do sp1 cycle with Odin. True strike ignore armor and resistances so your crits will do full damage as well.

Well i more mean sp3 to keep the frozen but yeah everything seems odd tbh as no one is gonna ignore cowardice now thinking maybe he be more of a 5/5 to me than enchantress since we cant ignore cowardice yet

Angela definitely works because you need to knock him down to remove his ESP charges.

I’ve been thinking about that too. Sp3s can sometimes escape certain activations because they functionally exist outside the normal flow of the fight. Maybe they do bypass the cowardice. We won’t know for sure until we get hands on with him.

That is true for bullseye. Maybe what if you didn't select any prefights? 30% special damage reduction should still allow you to tank sp1s.

Well it doesn't say that the cowardice is bypassed via sp3, it does say that his 10% damage cap doesn't work against sp3s though
