So, I live in Canada (Thank God). Does that mean the price of unit packs will go up by 25% depending on what Trump decides to tax?

Or because KABAM is a Canadian company I'm good but the rest of y'all are screwed? I genuinely don't know.....

It's that long because the end goal is inclusivity for everyone. I'd love to live in a time where we don't need to separate ourselves with acronyms, but unfortunately society isn't there yet, even with all the progress we've made.

I find it interesting that Trump is talking as if Canada would enter as a SINGLE (?) State.
That would put it just below California as the most populated (quite a bit above the next ones, in fact larger than even #4+#5 NY/Penn combined).
Just on its own, Ontario would be #5.

I would imagine the 10 Provinces would get to come in as individual States.
(*)well, Prince Edward Island would have to merge, and actually maybe all 4 of the smaller Eastern ones might make sense to join together (those 4 together would be equiv to about #36 of current 50 States, otherwise some would each be in bottom couple of States).

Manit. / Sask. if staying separately would each be at about #43 (so, not even the smallest), or if combined (to about #36, similar to a combined Eastern 4).

Any of Northern 3 Territories would be hard to be a State, even all 3 together. Probably remain Territories (or at least with voting US Reps, just not Senate seats), or join with Alaska if wanted Statehood status (that's where we are gonna throw Greenland into as well, isn’t it ? joke) That would only move Alaska up by 1 spot.

And FYI, while we're talking, current ranking of Puerto Rico would be #33 (yes, larger than 18 States, for those thinking it's just a tiny island).
And even D.C. is larger than 2 of our current States (but the design was such that it would not be part of any particular State, lest there be any favoritism towards that State).

Tariffs are passed on to the consumer in pretty much every scenario it’s unfathomable that people choose to ignore that fact but instead cheer on when threats are made to double or even triple the tariffs being imposed. Spoiler alert: the average citizen does not win in any scenario. I feel bad for Americans who never voted for this and hope it’s a quick 4 years for you.

I haven’t read it, and probably won’t. My opinion is that it probably won’t be separate states, 1 being because of the governments needing to divide into smaller sub divisions, meaning those would need to create city agency’s, and then a police for just for that city alone ( and no they can’t use the same police force since the new police would have to be run by USA forces ) and since chances are they won’t find more Americans to become police officers, and because socially and politically it would be a HUGE mess, I mean could you imagine the White House with Canadian officials debating on what’s best for the states of Canada if they were to split into states ( which they won’t as this would take years to do ) and let’s not even talk military.

it’s a crazy idea, that I don’t think could even be done within trumps term. Create another state that massive ? With its own government already established ? No way

If Canada and the US merged, surely it'd mean more democratic-leaning people in government, so that'd be a no-no for the red-hats until they figure out the gerrymandering...

I mean, I assume Canadian politics isn't as right-wing as America, where their "left-wing" is still right-of-centre for most of Europe.
