This Saga Incursion is for the DEATHLESS SAGA

The Deathless Signature Stones are Saga Signature Stones.

If these are both the same, then why use different titles for them?

I think difference is just for this saga as they been pushing deathless champs to use in war incursions so does kinda make sense for saga to give deathless sigs and those that dont have them yet well u have sigs for when u do but should be more clearer by just saying deathless sigs than saga sigs

Lol. Because they are NOT the same, Kabam has been using different terminologies for Deathless Saga and Saga champions in the past. This sudden turnaround surely seems to be a "dirt under the rug" move. They did mess up with the announcement using different terms and now they want us to only have "DEATHLESS SAGA STONES" Make it make sense. 😂
Yeah, but never attribute to malice ("dirt under the rug move") what can be explained by something far more innocuous (like poor coordination or communication).
After all, you're not really so paranoid that you think Kabam intentionally is trying to give you deathless stones while making you first think you were gonna get saga stones? That's a pretty cuckoo mindset for you to have, as if the company is some kind of troll just messing with you on purpose for no reason.

I think the correct saying is don’t attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity. Lol

Sure, or Napoleon's "incompetence." That's harsh, and regardless, the point is, this isn't some grand conspiracy against the players with malicious intent. People who post that stuff sound ridiculous and I'm embarrassed for them.

That is literally how all games work. Monkeys dancing to the music of the gamemaker.
  • The separate wording is confusing here, for sure.
The Sig Stones were always intended to be Deathless throughout the content.

I'll poke this again to make sure, but it's looking like it's an unfortunate wording error - apologies about that.

Ok, but there are Saga champions that aren’t Deathless champions. Historically Saga sig stones have been usable on all Saga champions, not just the champions the Saga revolves around. For example, X-Magica sig stones were usable not only on X-men and Magical champions, but also Saga champions that didn’t fall under that category (like Kingpin or Kate Bishop).

I’m not saying putting Deathless sig stones there is a problem, but it’s understandable why some people thought they would be usable on all Deathless Saga champions and not just Deathless champions.

If it’s your explanation of the picture from your announcement, it would be disappointing. I truly believe that it’s a wording error for sure which I think laziness is the real problem not so-called “saga” or “deathless”.

The total number of the deathless sigs including 25 sigs we just got is 180.
+ 20 Sigs you get for duping one champ from past objectives.
So a final count of 200.
    Which is definitely intended.

But the wordings.... lol someone did an oopsie.

Same, I really feel confused why some players would like to PUA themselves to accept the claim. When aw showdown of Decay/Sugar Pill would launch, will there be a familiar problem of wording error between Saga 7r2 gem and Deathless 7r2 gem? If we meet the same issue and now we accept the claim, this gem will be only used for those 5 heroes and for many players who already have those heroes at 7r2 it’s wasted and useless. I am just curious about the plan of solving this “wording issue”. Understand?

I can assure you, it's nowhere even close to 90% - this game is absolutely enormous.
Unfortunately, accidents are going to happen - especially wording errors in comms when items can be referred to in multiple names.

Our standard is still for there to be no errors throughout the game, and for nothing to go wrong.
Please just stop any misleading wordplay. It is not just a matter of wording errors.

What's the f point you guys need to use two different "terms" to describe one item? We all know what the f the deathless sig stone looks like because the name of that item is DEATHLESS SIG STONE.

And your guys "created" another word, which is the SAGA SIG STONE. Who the hell in the world can believe those two are talking about the same bs. SO WHAT IS THE POINT OF DOING THIS? Just trying to mislead us?

    Here are some points:
    1. It definitely manipulates our players' expectations. Some of us might make decisions based on that false information. Is that OK for a game runner???

    2. Using different words to create an illusion of choice or variety is just deceptive design. It's literally a dirty move. This is a game that should rely on clear descriptions. Miscommunication on rewards is UNACCEPTABLE!!!

    3. I already finished zone 15. I don't care if the final rewards should be deathless-only ss or whatever. I just want to remind every player that if it says SAGA SIG STONE, then we need to see the item by the name of SAGA SIG STONE in our inventory.

I just sincerely suggest that you guys officially clarify those false ads. I MEAN IT.
    Totally agree.

Saga Signature Stones are present in each Saga - under the Saga Sig Stone bucket lies multiple different variations of Saga Signature Stones... one of them being: Deathless Saga Sig Stones.

The folks tuning the events aren't the same people writing the Comms, due to this, wording occasionally gets crossed. Nothing done here is "intentionally" misleading.

With respect, as a company you’re nowhere near delivering your standard. The game is never anywhere near that standard.

Even if the sigs were all worded as deathless champion sigs stones, there’s still the question of why design it this way? Like many I already have an sig 200 Thanos, I have no real desire to put sigs in the rest of the deathless champs. Loads of players don’t even have the deathless champions! The rewards for this event aren’t all the compelling when you limit the pool so drastically on who they can be used on. The sigs should follow the convention as all the previous saga incursion events and be usable on the whole Saga pool.

Hey, there's no need to keep calling out people for having their profiles private. It's an option offered to users on the forum and I just don't see what it adds to the discussion other than to shame or demean the OP for choosing to have that enabled.

I'm not trying to offend you but I think you've pointed this out a few times in other threads.

This is helpful to understand how the team sees it. Couple of questions:

As far as I can remember, this particular construct of a saga with subsets of stones has not existed. Is that right?

For the deathless saga, you seem to be implying that Deathless stones are one type of saga sig stone and that there could be more “subsets” that are focused on champs other than the Desthless. Is that right?
