Next saga chase champ

Now that we know the next saga pool, who do you think the chase champ is going to be, and who you think might get a saga buff?

For the past 3 sagas, the chase champ is a new 7* or a limited 7* (CMM). If we go by that logic, I could see Tigra, apoc, Nick Fury or toad as viable chase options. Or they could buff someone like thor rags or red cyclops and release them as chase champs.

What do you guys think?

I think Zemo would be a good shout, not that It matters but 2/3 of the chases have been mutants.

Realistically speaking, Toad and Spiderman-Supreme can be good choices as well, but I think they're more likely to be suited for the titan or a reunion themed crystal.

I think apocalypse. If you go to profile pictures section. You see a purple border apocalypse profile pic. Might be a foreshadowing 7* apocalypse incoming🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

If Kabam wants to make money they should release Hulkling, Nick, Doom and Apocalypse. Whales and Dolphins would stop at nothing to get them asap and low spenders would be interested in getting them. The long they wait to release them, the less demand for these champs it will be. Release the hounds and make bank.

You do know that's exactly whatbhapped and with some of the older gods like Wolverine
and scarlet witch right? Deemed "too powerful" and once they finally released them as 6* they were the only ones (quake and magik excluded) left to be made 6*. I fully expect it to happen again with these 6* that are genuinely OP like doom, apocalypse, nick etc.

Cyclops (Red) is part of the saga? Is this potentially a mistake and meant to be Cyclops (Blue)?

If not, he might be getting an Overhaul down the road. I just can’t think of any other reason to include him in his current state.

Psylocke is also part of the saga. I could see her getting a moderate update to her kit and being the chase champion, just like Nightcrawler.

If champs like Sinister, DPX, Dazzler and Onslaught (these are just the mutants champs) are in the game already then there is not reason the meta champs of the past aren't included. I understand Quake and Hercules might be hard no go but the rest I don't think are game breaking enough not to release them. Kabam is in the business of making money and what better way to keep the company going than to release the hounds.

I think Nick makes sense as he is a different beast once duped (same as Mr. Sinister, Nightcrawler, and Captain Marvel). People would have to be lucky enough to have an awakening gem for him or wait a year for the insane “deal” like they just ran on Nightcrawler.

It's about sales. They know they can make a ton of money late in the 7* lifestyle by finally giving us a 7* doom etc when they're just about ready or just announced 8*.

I can guarantee you one thing for sur that there is no way we are getting 7 star Nick fury as a saga champ even though he will be worth it to play regularly so you can get Nick fury but my guess is he could be in the omega type of crystal so kabam could make immense amount of money spent by the whales

Then there will be a whole BG’s meta based around these attackers/defenders that nobody uses such as Man Thing and Sorc Supreme, and a ton of attackers that will become useless.

Remember this is the season when we start seeing rank 4 in defense. Go ahead rank the 6*s for war. And then you pull them as 7* making it waste of resources.

He's getting massive buff with the rework. He will shine whatever this tactic demands. But he is going to be a limited and rare 7* for the duration of the saga.
