Gauntlet Ordeal coming on May 12th or May 5th? What team do you plan on bringing?

I’m guessing it’s the 12th, but just wanted to make sure, since it says 5th in the upcoming event page.

Team wise do you think the deathless team might be an actual option for it? What do you think a good team would look like?

Depends on how the lanes change and whether there’s any additional hurdles, abilities or nodes.

The old teams for navigating Gauntlet are a good place to start (Red Mags with mutants, e.g.) but some of them may be overpowered by the boosted defenders.

I believe everything is supposed to be the same, just with beefier defenders and with no option to hop out part way through. So probably double (or more) health and attack values.

If that’s the case, it’s likely a bit of a potions cleaner. Some of the best options I can recall were champs not yet available as 7*—Red Mags being one—and I’m unsure whether there are suitable new champ replacements.

the defenders will be 7* rank 4

no way to do one part and go out

and main thing is only using 7* champs

Sinister/Serpent to take majority of fights. Ultron for immunities and to stun lock Vision. Nefaria for Mojo, DM, Sassy. Black Cat for a couple of annoying science fights, more as backup. She might get switched for Hulkbuster instead for power drain ability and to add more synergy to Ultron. Undecided right now.

Assuming no additional nodes, I’m probably looking at something like this:

    • Leader makes a mockery of Terrax and Thanos, and can handle Mojo and Ibom fine. I’m also gonna use him against Dragon man, who will not be a solo but tbh there aren’t a lot of champs that take him on well and Leader is still probably above average.
    • Bullseye for the evaders (Spam, NC, Gwen), plus MODOK and Void.
    • Adam is just the placeholder spot for a Vision counter. Might replace him with someone else like DShulk or Hulkbuster, since I don’t know if I trust Adam’s taunt that much.
    • Purgatory handles BPCW, and is my “good enough” answer to Domino and Killmonger.
    • Onslaught for everything else.

Lagacy had put out a video of doing the whole thing with DThanos. So he's probably going to be on the team. And someone for dragon man. Although since there he was punching down, might have to find optimal counters to other fights.

The OG team was Ghost,Quake and Archangel. All 5*. Not going to be possible now , unfortunately

They should be decent for the ordeal. Like Deathless Thanos can do most of the fights by himself

There is not. They haven't released specific reward details yet.

All I’m after atm is that t7 basic they mentioned in the stream. This should be the 3rd one we get for “free”. Carina Necropolis, Epoch and this one. Finally get to choose whom to rank up, haha.
