INITIAL THOUGHTS ON JEAN GREY?

She seems very good offensively definitely a great mutant (first impressions).

At this rate, mutant will be the strongest class by the end of 2025 and I'm not against it.
What are your first impressions on the FAINT Prone Telepath?

But still she may be a stall on defense, especially since the force field mitigates damage
This is just TB EQ, and my first time fighting her, but she's definitely a staller and annoying.
I think DLL undersold her as a 3 on the defender scale. But that's not unusual for Kabam to design champs that turn out better or worse on D than they projected. Like Dust is also a 3/5 on D, whereas Mysterio is a 4/5 (lol).
Also, I am not sure why Juggs was getting reverse-controlled here. Maybe just a glitch or is he not immune to her antics?

Yeah, Jack is the perfect counter for her. I don't spend on champs anymore, so I'll take everyone's word on how she is on offense.

Shocker can nuke her in bgs, never let her throw a special and nuke before that.

She's very good wdym. I do feel like they held back a little on her because they made her with the phoenix buff in mind so I'm interested on how broken she will be

Pulled the five star and she seems pretty solid. Haven't ventured outside of realm yet so definitely not getting the full picture but get rotation is pretty consistent and her heavy reach is way stronger than I thought it would be

Yeah, she's a weird champ.
If you have a reverse immune champ, it's an easy 50k score.
If you don't, 99% of the time it's not even going to be a stall, you will just actually die.

What's nice though is she's also an exellent attacker, so it's not like drafting a defender who becomes useless when your opponent gets a counter.
She's also a hard counter against herself obviously.

Yeah thats what i was implying , is if she's better dual threat in BGs than Sinister from the 50% RC thing for defense and not having the inequity damage reduction . Sinister seems to have a lot more counters

Low-key think she's overtuned. She won't get rebalanced, but it's evident DLL tried wayy too hard to make her good.

Jean is pretty similar to Onslaught in that you apply neuroshocks and then use SP2 to convert them for big damage.
Whereas Onslaught uses neuroshock passives and degen passives, Jean uses neuroshocks debuffs and neuroshock passives.
They have some different tools and mechanics with their kits, but on a general level they're somewhat similar.

I don't use NWT, but compared to Dazzler, they can both ignore thorns. Dazzler has the pursuit, but Jean has the passive parry stun. Dazzler has the dodge miss but Jean has the force field. Hard to say who's a better attacker. Dazzler is more of a nuke but Jean is probably slightly safer.
