Missing selector in the Voting Objectives

I just finished the objective but no selector for voting popped off. Even after multiple restarts. Anyone else ?

Cool. It only took 4 pages and 2 days to get a response from someone at kabam.

Communication on these boards from kabam is in the bin at this point.

The bugs in this game since the new year is getting a bit ridiculous. Nothing works as intended out the gate... Ever. There's barely any communication about the problems as well and then they put out that live stream that was just an hour long advert for all the champs you can buy for money in the next few months which felt a bit much.

It would be nice if someone from kabam could just be honest with us about why the game is/fells like its on its arse at the moment and what they are doing behind the scenes that we don't know about to help us understand the issues at play. Because at the moment it really feels like you don't give a 💩 about the problems and just want us to spend all our money on sales and shiny new champs that will probably be bugged on release anyway.

I lost all of my votes. They just disappeared and didn’t pop up to let me vote like they did for my mini account. So I just don’t get to vote at all I guess 😂💀

I did not do yesterday objective as there is a slot for one more.
But today’s objective did not appear.
I thought I missed one day and performed ovjective.
But after I claimed the objective box, no selector appeared.

There are 2 Objectives (can see examples of them in earlier pics).

If you left 1 still showing yesterday, with 1 open slot.
When they refreshed today, you will have only gotten 1 of the 2 new objectives for today.

So, yes, by leaving 1 undone, you lost 1 chance. (aside from the various issues here, I think that one days worth, of whichever one it was, would be permanently lost for you).

Good news anyways is that there are more than enough days to hit a top milestone, and even get some additional extra champ Pics/Titles/votes as well. (Just maybe 1 less for you now though)

I did the objective and didn't get the option to vote. I did notice that my vote for Rogue went up by about 30 points. I'm assuming it automatically votes for me based on my highest votes. I could be wrong but this is what it seems to be doing right now.
The “newer” of the 2 objectives, use ANYONE for fights, that gives 30x votes, is not a selector.
Yes, it will automatically continue to add those 30 votes into your PRIMARY VOTE (that you first choose when the in-game mail Choice was done, the one that gave your initial 160 pts for)
(Announcement did say that you have a 1-time Choice, and subsequent votes will go to that same choice.

Now, the first Objective (19x) is indeed a selector each day, and that is where you can opt to get multiple different Profile Pics / Titles for the other champs.

I just wouldn’t choose anyone else from that UNTIL I’ve reached the Top Milestone for one of the particular champ Realm Events.
(or I guess you could, because the milestone increments are all the same, and the rewards are the same for every milestone, so you could do half of one champ, half for a 2nd champ, etc)

Once you pick a champ, then every daily special completion (ie 5 fights with ur selected champ) add 30 ballots.

IWD selector gives 19 ballots + profile pic + titles. You can collect the profile pic/title of each champ and then all-in one champ. Or simply all-in if profile pic/title doesn’t matter with you.

If you all-in one champ, you should have got 290 ballots on Day 3 (160 +13 + 19 + 19 + 30 +19 + 30).

Was trying to calc to see if any other combinations of splitting votes would allow you to pick up 1 additional 40 Unit + Crystal milestone (in total, across all champs).
And does NOT look possible.
Only 10 Total Milestones, for 400 Units Max.

So (and assuming that Kabam will comp. for the missing ability to claim the one style, and potentially missing 30x on the other one for those who's votes didn’t increase by 30 either)..

26 days * 19 pts
25 days * 30 pts

You should have only enough to get milestones for only 1 champ (and it would be FULL Milestones for that champ).
And then also do one days worth of the 19x for EVERY other champ too (for Profile Pic, Title, etc)
And have ONLY 3 points to spare (in your FAV champ).

(thus, every missed 19x milestone day will prevent you from getting one more of the OTHER champs.)

So, do your FULL Milestones for FAV first, then see how many leftover days you have to get other champ items.

** MATH - ignore if you want **

Milestone increments are 130 pts.
19x * 7 days = 133 pts.
Each other champ already starts out only with 13 pts.
So you would need to sacrifice 7 days on your Favorite, to reach a next milestone on one of the others. But that then misses 1 milestone on your Favorite, while getting you just that 1 extra on the Other champ. (Cancels out, and leaves you at EXACTLY the pts for just Milestone #9 on your FAV).

And in fact if you tried to switch 14 days over to another champ, you lose 3 (not just 2) milestones on your FAV (and thus lose 1 overall).

I think Kabam worked out the points structure very meticulously.
If they had made (however many days) * (whatever pts) come out to an amount just below the 130 pts milestone (instead of just above that) you could have then basically captured/used the initial 13 pts (from Promo Code) and split things up to get 1 more “overall” milestone.
But they prevented that.

**unless we end up with an additional extra day's worth from the various Comp.

Would need to use 7 days (x19) to reach a milestone in another champ.
But appears we would only have 6 extra days to use.

So enough for the profile items for all 6 other champs, but NOT enough to lump all those extra into a single 2nd champ milestone.

I woke up this morning, logged in to MCOC, and the two objectives were available again. I did the fights with the relevant champs, and I got the rewards from both objectives when I claimed them. I'm now up to 301 votes (for Sue Storm of course) and 2 Cavalier Nexus Women of Power Crystals.

BUT... this set of objectives made up for only one of the two days that most of us missed out on the votes and rewards. Will be interesting to see how Kabam make up for the other "missing day."

For now I would just collect the 30 votes for the champion but don't collect the reward selector until it's fixed. The selectors have a 30 day window to claim, just wait.

If you don't claim it, will it just sit in the objectives and prevent the next day from refreshing and giving you a new one?

So did you 2 clear your initial objectives yesterday, and THEN later on (overnight or this morning) get ANOTHER replacement Objective (and which one(s), the 19x one ? Or both 19 and 30 ?) to appear, PRIOR to RESET TIME, and do them again, and claim them ?
And so was able to claim a 2nd one of those types for what was game-based-objective-time “yesterday”.

And then just 1-2 hrs ago (at RESET time), did you then get both to come up in objectives again for today ?

Day 2: Selector Glitched
Day 3: Selector Glitched
Still Day 3: New Selector appeared shortly and worked (Both selector and vote objective reappeared)
Day 4: Selector Worked

Still short by 1 selector but by the time they would give compensation for day 2, i may not need it as i would have got all the pfp and probably would have stopped voting.

My pfp selector worked today, day 4. On day 3, I let it sit without claiming it for hours. It didn’t work when I claimed it, and I never got a “refresh” of it. I did get the refresh for the 30 bonus tickets, because I claimed those right away. So I’m still short two days worth of extra votes from the pfp selector.

Did notice you are stuck with your original vote as well. If you vote for any other champ for the profile pic and title like I did once your points go to that specific champ instead of the one you locked in to start.

To be 100% honest, I’ve given up at this point.

I have zero trust in the tally of votes cast.

I have no idea how many I should actually have cast.

I doubt my points are at all correct.

I realize @KabamDORK has said things are being looked at, and I really think he’s a nice guy and is doing his best, but the sluggish pace at which everything misfiring in game seems to get “looked at” is depressing.

The team will tell me how many votes I cast and who won at some point, based on whatever method they decide to use to tally things up. But given the way this and several other things are being handled, my response will likely be a resigned shrug and a surly “whatever.”
