Gentle his ability damage should be reduced

I have pulled him out of a titan and nexus so sig 20. but this guy is just killing himself after each special and even at sig200 its just reduced to 50% so whats te point of this champ for attack ??? Not again just a poor defender 🥱

Read his kit
There is a way to reduce his charges so you don’t take the damage

@Folkvangr The self-damage mechanic in general still sucks. Why would a player of mcoc want to get Gentle to sig 200 just so he doesn’t damage himself. It should even be in his kit in the first place. I don’t care how close to the source material it is for Gentle. It’s the worst mechanic ever. Hopefully they change this ‘ability’ or Gentle will be a forgotten champion.

Dude, you just need to throw a light combo to not take the damage

Finish your combo with a light attack before throwing a special. It consumes one of his mass so he won't take the reflected damage and doesn't lose much on the damage he's dealing.
I did two different fights against WS the same way. Regular hits into SP1, then build to SP2. Took him down to 60% with 12 muscle mass the first time, then took him down to 61% ending my combo with a light and having 11 mass for the special, but kept the 10% health.
Still trying to figure him out, and possibly playing wrong, but doesn't seem to be a disadvantage to avoiding taking damage.
