Side Quest Trick

I feel kinda dumb for just realizing this now, but in case anyone else didn't realize it, this is what you can do.
Level 5: take the yellow path as many times as you want to complete the Objective for T4A.
And then use your gate tokens on whichever Threat Level you want so you don't have to waste them all on the red feather crystal shard rewards.

Mysterium is same for 4 gates, where ever you use them.

Yes, correct, you get the same mysterium at every threat level, so that doesn't change. (Ignore the lack of mysterium in some of the completion reward photos below as that depends on which gate you take last; if you took the free gate last, then you already got the mysterium earlier).

Anyway, I feel dumb for not doing this last week, but here is the method for getting extra ascension dust instead of max red feather crystal shards.

Threat Level 5: do 4 runs (at least one on each Cosmic and Skill path), but only exit through the red token gate once, the other three times exit through the free gate.
What you get? 100% completion rewards, and 4/4 T4A objective.
What you miss out on? Extra red feather crystal shards.

Next do Threat Level 4: two runs (one on each path). Exit once through red token gate, and once through free gate.
What you get? 100% completion rewards (extra ascension dust).

Then repeat for Threat Levels 3 & 2.

Just realized there is no restriction on heroes we can use in the side quest this month to complete that objective and brought in a bunch of people who don't dent Colossus....

What’s with the misleading side quest pics, kabam?

No 7 star shards. No 6 star shards, no 5 stars shards.

Not a big deal. But a little annoying.

They just keep moving the rewards for some reason. The seven star shards and titan shards aren’t in the SQ maps this month, they are in one of solo events.
