Bugs and Player Concerns: Impact on Gameplay and Community

Thank you for sharing the details. We understand that bugs are not intentional parts of any update. However, these bugs are causing significant frustration for players, and the compensation (if received any, not sure) being provided doesn't seem to be enough to address the losses. For instance, I took 98% damage from Korg's thorns, and my champion died a minute later. We’re all using boosts and revives just to clear the node, and yet claiming that these bugs aren’t intentional feels unfair given the losses players are enduring.

Many players are already losing interest in the game, and with the persistence of these bugs, the number of disengaged players will only grow. I’ve been playing this game for the last 6 years, and I only focus on AQ now since the monthly quest rewards are outdated. Please take these points into consideration, as they are negatively impacting both the game and its community.

I'm there too. Dont even think I logged on this week. Maybe once but that's it
I came back from a week break for the ordeal but that took like a couple hours at most and since then I haven't felt compelled to open the game that much

Recipe for disaster:

1. Lots of bugs and issues that persist for a long time.
2. The appearance (not necessarily truth, just what people feel) that bugs hurting Kabam are fixed rapidly, while others that hurt the player linger (e.g. Bastion deals not working was dealt with quickly, whereas the Ares final form bug and Bullseye AW Showcase lag persisted for weeks)
3. Robotic responses from Kabam (if communications occur at all) that include a tone of "you guys just complain, it's not hard, buck up" instead of including some empathy and understanding.

Set aside for the moment the increasing opportunities to nickel and dime the player base with seemingly endless loop of purchasable double tracks for champions that haven't been released and new champs guaranteed for $500. The three steps above tell me that Kabam does not care about the player base, because they don't take basic steps to put the game first.

Definitely the kabam responses and compensations don’t seem to relate to the player base feelings.

I do remember when we had weekly compensation packages until the big was fixed (it never really was of course). But honestly, the weekly compensation made it a lot more bearable.

A large stash of guaranteed revives and heals and energy at least reassured people that kabam realised the actual IMPACT the bug was having.

Like.. it’s costing people time and energy and resources frequently. So a chunk of energy and resources back was a huge band aid that helped.

Of course every player would rather have a game without bugs, than compensation. But if we don’t have a working game, then give us the tools to play with a broken game, so we can still play.

In such big games, the small bugs will always remain..

The funny part here is that for Nightmare raids, Kabam mentioned two things - Weapon X health and Korg's thorn will not work as expected in a regular fight..

And guess what, these two are bugged ,,🤣

To be fair, it’s a common perception of Kabam for a reason. It’s easy to joke about because it’s so persistent in their behavior (especially in the last few months). And, like with the bugs and rewards issues, it doesn’t look like they’re taking any meaningful steps to innovate on their monetization or make the monetization feel worth spending for.

Managing our ally of late has become increasingly difficult . We try to be engaged at least in all aspects but you can see the disinterest growing week by week. I would normally have no problem kicking and replacing, but finding replacements right now is almost non existent.
