I joined to see what's happening over there, quite exciting I must say

The reaction choices are really a lot more, you will see raw reactions like middle fingers from the players

Discussion on discord is rather unorganized

Kabam should add dedicated discussion sub channels for each mode, like battlegrounds, raids etc so discussion can be more concentrated for players to find

Right now there is general-mcoc, off-topic, new-player-questions, advanced-player-questions, screenshots, mcoc-memes

There is a feature whereby you can choose which progression you are at to display besides your name so you know the progression of everyone, it helps to understand who is asking for advice at what stage of the game

Overall it's a positive venue for discussion about the game

I have access to it, but I only use it when I’m looking for an announcement that goes up there before hitting the forum. Too close to global in its structure. I need my crackpot, cantankerous, misguided MCOC community content organized into discrete threads, not just jumbled up in a couple of mega chats.

I disagree. There's a point where you might think adding more channels is organized but what it does is divide the discussions far too much.

I use it solely for finding incursion partners. But the ones I do find are needy, demanding, picky, flaky, and do not follow directions.

I actually find better partners in global and random matching normally.

I decided to change my profile pic to the best saga incursions carry champ every saga. But Sinister will always be the second best.

And not, "no, I have discord and use it, but find the MCOC discord channel to be essentially muddy cluttered and a waste of time so I never go on it."

My thoughts are that the majority of forum users are valiants but the majority of MCOC discord channel are not valiants

MCOC discord channel has a good mix of players from different progressions and the sentiments of both places are not entirely similar due to the demographics
