RIP pulling 5k 7* shards from the daily crystal?

Has anyone else noticed that since the daily event was added to the game last year with the initial trial that pulling 5* 7* shards just doesn't happen anymore? Almost like it's been removed from the pool?

Just got me 5k 7* shards yesterday so not true , is just RNG .

I kinda stopped login into the webstore for them. If this was an attempt to promote the webstore it definitely backfired on them at least from my side.
Matter of fact I got this belief that the people who login daily religiously are f2p players that won't spend anyway.

I don't think that's true, but I will say I have noticed not pulling any 7-star shards from the crystals for the past month.

I did remember laughing at players who said that the old crystal system was better than this Daily system since the new system results in less 7-stars. Its all RNG, and guaranteed is invariably better than RNG.

Ah, thanks for sharing. It would be really good if Kabam can pull my account history to confirm, it seemed like I pulled it weekly until the daily event came out.

I used to screen shot it every time I pulled 5k, but I haven't had it for literally half a year..

If you were pulling them weekly, Kabam should examine your account history in detail, specifically for cheating of some kind (just kidding: to be fair, I'm unaware of any sort of cheating a player could do to do this). The odds of pulling 7* shards from the Valiant daily crystal are (and have always been) 1.51%. In other words, on average one out of every 66 crystals. According to my drop records, I've pulled 7* shards eleven times out of 670 crystals, which is about one out of 61 crystals, in rough agreement with the published drop odds.

The last time I pulled 7* shards was 58 crystals ago on December 8, 2024. I don't get them religiously from the web store, I miss here and there, so I've only opened about 60 crystals in three and a half months. My longesst drought was actually right at the start: I didn't get my first 7* shard drop until crystal 171, so that's a gap of 170 crystals without a 7* shard drop. It happens.
