Zola or Jack?

Which one of them is more worthy for an r4? I had Jack for a while, I really like him, but Zola seems to be good too. Jack is awakened already, Zola can be too.

Idk,..maybe go with who you like to play best?
Haven’t got jack,..but do have Zola at R2 (unawakend). He seems like much more of a defender to me,..i like his utility but i don’t particularly like his spam heavy style (in the corner),.,not really my thing tbh.

Depends on who you like more. Zola’s more focused on defense and utility while Jack is a pure attacker. Jack can counter Onslaught better than Zola

I know theres a lot of hype behind Zola right now but Jack's value is not only established but his stock seems to be going up and up. Plus you know he won't be tuned down by the balanced team. Personally, I just R3'd my Jack and I think it was totally worth it. I personally despise fighting Onslaught so it was an easy choice for me.

Zola is an absolute unit on defense so it all comes down to are you BGs focused or not, I'm not saying Jack is bad but you can counter Onslaught with a handful of champs already and Bastion is coming soon. Also, Zola is very strong on attack only issue is he kinda needs that sig 200 to be 100% reliable and easy to use.

Zola’s final burst damage is actually small compared to his actual heavy disintegrations

It's not that, it's the unblockable, it allows you to stack more disintegrations since you don't have to connect your last heavy into sp2 before they reach two bars, you can do the full heavy and throw sp2 while they're standing up they won't be able to block it whereas without the unblockable they can block it. Also, stand your ground, massive problem for Zola, sig 200 shuts it down completely.

Jack is my best counter for Enchantress if Nefaria is banned, funny enough, he is a great Zola counter too. Depending on nods, of course.

Fair point, I will wait to see if they do anything with Zola although so far it seems to me he is fairly balanced, I can't see them touching him.
