Would like to know your thoughts about Kabam having a permanent ad placement in 9gag, and the choice to focus on Battlegrounds, of all things.

This just in..... a company does advertisement.... breaking news.

Do you know 9gag and the kind of content it has?

And? It's not strictly inappropriate material.
It's a media sharing platform controlled by Chinese regulations on Hong Kong, which has a multitude of russian bots spreading far right propaganda. You occasionally get a funny meme stolen from another site, but it's essentially a russian/Chinese propaganda tool for the west. Literally zero gaming context, yet Kabam has paid enough to have a permanent slot there for the past 5 months.

If you don't visit the site then you won't see the ads. Problem solved 🤷‍♂️

Aren't those ads based on algorithms like in Instagram? Like you search stuff on google for "home remedies for diarrhea" and then instagram starts showing Peptobismol ads?

    See, the crazy thing is...

Yes, that's exactly what's happening here.

Wait.... So you're saying because it's not related to gaming that there shouldn't be ads for gaming? Those ads are always based on you, and not the app. It's generally from information on your phone. Just be glad it's showing MCOC and not something else.
