Skill issue or???

Recently we have a youtuber who got valiant in 4 days and 16 hours

But there are many players out there who find this game difficult as well so what's your opinion on this?

On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the highest difficulty and 1 being extremely easy, how do you find this game? Which part of the game do you have difficulty with?

I would give it a 1 when the AI was just plain dumb but now the AI cooperating or not is mainly the only factor that makes it either easy or difficult

I feel people are too afraid/embarrassed/??? to use units for revives, or are too impatient to stock up on revives, for the harder type content.

My biggest area of difficulty are new boss interactions (like phase boss type things).

I was t quite sure what you meant by difficult, so I based it on if it can be completed reasonably.

Definitely like this. Sometimes you need revives.
Just please don’t spout free to play. You can get free revives for free but the hoard of having to tell everyone is insufferable.

By difficulty it could imply for example, some players are stucked in paragon and below bcos they face some difficulty with story quest bosses

I have thronebreakers in my alliance who just refuse to fight the story quest bosses to become paragon bcos they find it too difficult

I had to force myself to fight story quest bosses with their mini games (I still don't find it fun at all) to become valiant

Not many true roadblocks and easy access to ingame currency that let's scrubs like me be basically endgame competent

Nah, I don't buy that argument. I brute forced GM my first time (no wounded phase after phase 3, on very few wounded phase the first two phases). 0 wounded phase for Gwenmaster 15 hits unblockable node, and even 0 completed prompts for Ares my first two (or maybe three) fights. There are few true roadblocks in the game that can't just be revived through, and the 68+ you can get in a month (not counting ones bought with units) are more than enough.

I don't know whether 7* gates can be considered as a form of difficulty but it's definitely a roadblock for some players

My first run at GM was similar, just pure brute force.
First time I fought gwenmaster was similar too. I didn't get her out of her first phase until she was already super low health, haha

There isn't a boss in the game that can't be brute forced, I don't believe.
Maybe Ares with Herc can't? That's about all I can think of.

It's mainly because there's literally no reason to be valiant. Back when cavailer and TB were highest progression, and if a uncollected wanted to get cavailrr level rewards (r5 5* and r2 6*), they have to progress to cavailer and usually there's no work around. But nowadays Act 5 exploration gives you 7* shards. Literally paragon level rewards in uncollected (3 tiers below). There are FTP cavailers and Thronebreakers with multiple r5 6*s and 7*s, even few with r3 7* champ. The newbie players are spoiled with 7* and 6* champs early in the game, so most can easily autoplay their way through act 5, but once they start to experience real challenging bosses like grandmaster and Champion bosses where they no longer brute force or revive spam their way through, They get struck. And in bgs they literally can't do anything because they don't know bout various interactions and mechanism of different champs. Kabam should really start pampering uncollected and cavailer players. It's not healthy in the long run.

As just some normal dude out here messing around, it’s not super easy. No one walking into the game could do what MSD did even with the reflexes and skill. You need knowledge of the numerous champs, what they do, their specials, who benefits from ranking. You need to know nodes, what they do, what turns them off, etc. you need to memorize the dex of every champions special. Do I need to go on? How’s a new person supposed to do that in 4 days?

MSD going through lower content would be like sending Willie Mays in his prime to play on a JV high school baseball team and conclude major league baseball is too easy. It’s entertainment value for some I guess, but it doesn’t tell you anything about the gameplay experience.
