Best Mutant Defender in the Game?

Mutants are once again the dominant class or tied for when it comes to attack, but they don't have as many top defenders compared to other classes. Who is the current best defender atm? (May change after Jean/Cyclops get added to the Titan).

We don't have apoc as 7* yet but extrapolating how hed be with his current kit with the higher block pen and health as an r3

    She's a bi**h if you don't have one of those 6-7 tech champs who counter her it's kind of guaranteed loss. I have seen in every Content creator bg streams where she is one of those champs who get instabanned.

    And I hardly disagree. Mutant defense is pretty solid. It is better than science and mystic, but worse than cosmic, tech and skill. If we are talkin bout worst defensive class then it has to be science. Photon is single handedly carrying the class, Thing stalls in some metas but most skill champs can counter Thing. Jessica is rare and have tons of counter and 6* electro goes down in 20 seconds so the chip damage doesn't matter. Spideys get shut down by one slow or true accuracy (or these new anti evade abilities). Science really need more defenders.

    If Onslaught had a normal AI, he would be in line to be one of the worst from this list. That erratic AI combined with crush and somewhat the long specials is what makes him #1 imo

    Neither is a joke but there are about ten times as many Onslaught counters as there are Serpent counters.

    I know this, you know this, most people know this but dude I quoted said "onslaught is a joke, too many counters and Havok cheeses him" so of course I had to call him out on it given EVERY good defender in this game has counters, and also hard counters.
