Help with Kraven's cross-fight

"Traps also inflict a Cross-Fight Suppression Passive on the Opponent, reducing Combat Power Rate by 6.25% for this and the next 5 fights. Max 2 stacks"

Does this mean the next 5 fights in a quest or if getting knocked out, having to revive to do the same fight over and over?

His Deep dive doesn't dive deeply enough into this part and nothing on the internet explaining this part either.

Both, but only for the attacker you are using. For example if you groot against him, only groot will hav this effects not your other team mates.

Thanks for that answer. I did try this in ROL though and the suppression effect did not carry over but perhaps I f'd up somehow. I'll try again.

Kraven isn't in RoL, so that would be why it didn't carry over.
It sticks to the champ that got trapped for the remainder of that given quest. Since you almost certainly won the fight, there's be nothing to stick to and therefore nothing to carry over.
It's part of his defensive kit, not offensive.

I thought if you inflicted Suppression with an attacking Kraven you'd have the next 5 defenders in the same quest "suppressed" as well. Oh well!

No, it applies against that one specific defender and no one else. You would only see it happen if you trigger the trap while using Kraven, lose the fight, and then bring someone else after.
