In fact, because of their unique designs, they are some of the more resource intensive regular release champions. If we start giving those champions away for free to tens of thousands of players we would be out of business pretty quickly. We were generous with Isophene because it was our tenth anniversary but it's not viable to make that the norm.

But - Does this mean that there won’t be a Deathless-Like Quest or challenge related to having all the Eidols? I think knowing that one way or the other would be super informative and helpful in deciding what to do.

Consider that what you answered is the developer's answer. On one of his last streams, he said that "in the case of Deathless, we warned you from the very beginning that Thanos was coming and you would need all 7* Deathless champions before him, but we didn't say anything like that about Eidols." And besides, Kabam aren't crazy enough to make a special quest for champions that are very hard to get (we'll honestly, all Deathless could be easily obtained if you didn't miss the pieces)
I believe the price of Lumatrix was presented very poorly by Kabam. They should have stated clearly that only the top 10 players in BGs can get Lumatrix for free, while the rest will have to pay around $50. If I had known this information, I definitely wouldn’t have bought the platinum track.

The value of light essence is getting a guaranteed 7 star. The trade in isn't their value it's a consolation

Anytime there has been an event or chase where we had to collect pieces for a Champion, there was no provision to transfer the pieces. But every time there was a provision to convert those pieces to shards or other items.
@Kabam Crashed can you confirm if there are any plans to add the 7* idols to the basic crystals at any point?
They will get added after 9 months, when the other champ released with them enters basic. It already is a well known fact. They skip titan period that's a all

Yes, some of us probably make a clear connection between “Lum” or “Luma” and “light.” However, judging by the questions on here lately, many many more people don’t see that connection.

It's not drastically different. And as hard as it is to get, it isn't paywalled. So it is not any different from the other chases except for that fact that is is harder.

It becomes a matter of 55 dollars for 2 new 7 star champs plus all the other value in the track and weekly deals.
