  Which do you want more? T2 dust or mysterium? Either way, for a valiant that has a ton of ascended r5s already it's really just pick what you want more. At least with mysterium you can get a bit more than simple t2 dust.

  Are you able to beat the Threat Level 5 opponents to meet the T2 dust objective but then exit before completing the quest so you can restart and use the gate token to get the mysterium from a different threat level?

  I think someone said this works in another thread. Cumbersome solution but might be folks best bet if they need all the stuff.

  Go to threat lv 5, do till 3rd boss, that will complete objective then quit.
  Do it 4 times to get ascension dust.
  Now go to threat lv 1, do two path and get 12k mysterium.
  It was a trick question by Kabam, i was smart to solve it.

  Tier 2 dust is worthless to majority end game players. 6* have very little use for me, we literally have rank 4s now. We should be able to trade dust or something

  I never seen a resource (t2 dust) become obsolete so quickly after introduction.

  I want T2 dust to Ascend FAM and CGR for that MSD challenge. It's the only one left except from Deathless run.

  Yes. This is just an application of the standard side quest rules. The objective is to defeat the boss in battle, not to complete the path. And, the message on gate keys right there in the game always says they will be refunded if you exit the quest without completing the path. Meeting the weekly objective only requires you to fight the boss. You can keep beating him, quitting the quest, fighting him again, etc. You could have done this in every week if you wanted to meet the objective early.
  
  So, today, I fought Omega Red four times, quitting after each fight, then entered Threat Level 4 with the Omega Red key and completed that path to get the Mysterium. The next three fights will just do Threat Level 4 to get all the Mysterium this week.

  This is a horrible design, why couldn't they just re-add mysterium to threat lvl 5 paths. You shouldn't have to "beat the boss" in Threat 5 for the objective, and then back out to do threat lvl 4 for mysterium. I thought this was the case and did threat lvl 5. only again to get the objective and now missing out on mysterium... It's never been like this in past bounty or events.

  I recently used dust to ascend 6* Ronan since there is no 7* and Ronan is a champ that occasionally provides a nice cheese in SOS style events and endgame story quest.
  
  To be fair, lot of times you can still get away with 5* ascended Ronan, just means less thumbwork with the 6*.

  this mechanic of quitting after one fight to get rewards from a lower lvl is not common knowledge, week 4 deserves compensation for mysterium, currently we're being punished by not being able to spend the weekly mysterium

  2
