3. Sp2 is nearly undexable, if you've ever fought a Mangog with block penetration you'd know tanking a couple of those on block is not a good thing. Not sure how hard iBom's will hit but with block penetration on and a whole rank above you will most likely feel it to some extent.

I am weary about all these supposedly good "Block Penetration defenders" when that is main defensive threat. So many people wanted Punisher 2099 for defense because "think about the block penetration on his specials!!!" but the fact of the matter is that there will always be better defender/attackers to kick him out of being in most people's deck.

I am weary about all these supposedly good "Block Penetration defenders" when that is main defensive threat. I'm not saying he's going to be this crazy staple defender because of block penetration (which is also why I didn't use this as my main point) I'm just saying there are some pros it's not like he's entirely useless or bad on defense. He's a decent dual threat and personally I am going to r4 him and throw him in my deck. I think the time stalling with Inequity and the physical resistance will make him good even if you don't manage to poison trap someone.

Until You fight against a Poison inmune lol
And Hercules is trash anyone that can nullify, that doesn't make him not great lmao. Besides which you can still use ibom against poison immune

Because he's 6* locked, the same goes for AA and Kate, can guarantee you when they get released as 7* nobody will be saying "good luck using them against poison/bleed/coldsnap immune!" because it's not like every defender in the game has those immunities.
He can be an annoying defender also, that inmortality Buff is wasted time in gamemodes like BG, i really try to give a place to Inmortal abom, can't find one, is Easy to fight against him, his damage is not that high compared to others, tbh is Bad imo
That buff can be fate sealed nullified staggered neutralized and marked, and then there are also others that can straight up remove it just by existing like Destroyer there are many champs who can shut it off in general. Herc's immortality doesn't stall nearly as much as Thing Sinister or Zola to be a valid argument in my opinion.

As for iBom on defense, few things I'll point out:
1. You can still poison trap people with him, and that's an instant win for you if you do.
2. He places weakness and petrify on you, if you run max Inequity (which you should with him) then whoever's attacking him will take a while to take him down especially if he's at r4 and has been spamming sp1 the whole fight, the poisons make him very tanky against physical attacks.

He is by no means the best but calling his damage is bad is overexaggerating, is it on Nefaria or Red Guardian level? No, but he can easily do same rank BGs fights in 40-45 seconds as long as the defender isn't poison immune or immune to direct damage somehow. if you think 45 seconds for a same rank BGs fight then I don't what to tell you, personally I will be taking mine to r4 right after FAM for all the reasons I just mentioned, I think people are sleeping on him due to the fact that he hasn't been meta in years and also because Inequity used to hurt him a lot.

Great info! Really want to see screenshots of your fights with him as defender or attacker in BGs to rank up mine when i dupe him, in few years i Guess.

Fixing him is as easy as adding a line to his description:

Start battlegrounds fights with 4 persistent charges.

That would honestly be too much. On defense it would bump up the block damage which is already a huge thing for him and on offense it would just be a lot. Spider Punk starts at half ramp sure, but his persistent charge isn't rolling it's just half of whatever he had in the previous fight and he's specifically designed to be good for bgs unlike apoc who has always been a questing champion

It would be just right.

Plenty of tech mutants that are able to strip him of the prowess. Ironheart, viv, nimrod, to name a few.

If it’s ok to have serpent loose, a champ kabam itself states that you either pull a counter or lose the match, then it sure as hell ok to have apoc start with 4 charges.
