Buffed Cyclops has insane damage but utility is so mid they need to allow him to actually counter thorns or he's going to fall off just as fast as Morbius. That adrenaline should not decay so you can recover all of it through your specials right now you still lose a ton of health it's useless for thorns.

Agree with what you said mostly but I don’t think he’ll have a morbius fall off tbh. His damage is insanely good and his effects are mainly passive and his damage is high enough to keep him from being forgotten but we’ll see

I think he will personally, Morbius' damage isn't bad it's just the utility is so mid. I love Cyclops he does have absolutely insane damage I took him to r2 but right now there are about 7-8 mutants that are way better than him, his only use is Bullseye and even then he can't really do that fight without sig 200 and some health lost. I don't think damage alone will help him stay relevant (especially when there are many ways that damage can be mitigated like with crit resistance or protection) when utility matters so much these days, I hope he gets buffed.

He can take many other matchups, evaders, Debuff immune, etc

Anyone that doesn't rely on debuffs can take debuff immune that's not an argument. Evaders sure but how many evaders are even meta defenders right now? It's literally only Bullseye and Lumatrix and for Bullseye he still loses some health.
