War defenders not being auto placed for second war

Why are the defenders not in the same spot for the second war? They all need to be placed again.

They were never actually placed onto nodes for the first war.

AUTO-PLACE (of unassigned defenders) only takes place during Match Making. And it is RANDOM as to where game will put them.

And the conversion from 50 node to 10 node maps did NOT do an actual assignment before these new ones began. You have to place them where you want them for this new map.

If you check your Setup Defense for future wars, you will probably see most of them have a “-1” (negative 1) node # assigned (seems like how the conversion to new map assigned “unassigned” champs), or maybe don't have a node # next to them at all (the way it used to show non-placed champs, or for newly chosen defenders but not placed into a node here).

And as follow up, just to clarify.

The Auto Placement I mean is for matchmaking placement of unassigned defenders (like this case, where everyone got changed to unassigned, unless your members went back in after the change and actually put their defenders somewhere).

The other semi-recent addition to game settings “Auto Placement” (or whatever it is called), is for when your ally moves Up/Down to a different Tier Difficulty Map (different node buffs, etc), it will Automatically keep your defenders assigned to their SAME NODE # as in your old Tier Difficulty Map.
Instead of everyone having to place specifically in both the “+” and “-“ Tier potentials, as well as “current tier”.
**but that is NOT what is going on with the change to this Trial 10-node issue.
