Paragon Arena Crystal….

Do you think we’ll get them anytime soon? I know most would gripe at the cost. But I just want a shot at 7* punisher.

I believe this conversation came up a few months ago and Karate Mike chimed in if I recall correctly.
The cost for a new level of arena crystal would be absolutely absurd and not worth it. It would take years for players to open enough crystals to meet the odds of pulling a Punisher. I believe Mike said that if Punisher were to come as a 7* that they would look for an avenue outside the arena crystals for him.

Plus he’d need a buff as well, current one is pretty outdated by 2025 standards

Trophy champs are at the bottom of the buff list at best. They've been pretty clear on that. The 7* has a far better chance of coming out for free than coming out after a buff.

Honestly doesn’t need a buff. He’s still fairly irritating as a defender. It’s a trophy thing. I just want one to have one. And grinders in arena would probably pop those crystals, despite the ridiculous cost.

Probably not. I was the one that suggested the TB crystal in the first place but there were some issues scaling it from the UC crystal. The UC crystal was easy because you just multiply everything about the basic crystal by five: the cost is five times higher, and every drop is five times bigger. You couldn’t do that with the TB crystal because if you did the energy drop would scale to 25 refills, which many players couldn’t effectively use (and imagine if you get lucky and get that drop twice). So the energy was scaled to ten drops, and the odds shuffled around to make the net overall energy benefit per BC come out the same, which then required changing the odds of the gold drops to compensate. Scaling everything up again for a theoretical Paragon crystal would require more shuffling, and the cost would scale up from 50k per crystal to 250k per crystal, which is high enough that it becomes impractical for almost anyone to reasonably buy in any quantity. Putting the 7* Punisher in there would be meaningless if no one could open enough crystals to have any chance of landing him.

The TB crystal was just on the edge of practicality. But a 5x Paragon crystal lives in la la land. Too expensive to buy, too expensive to open enough to have a practical shot at the top rarity Punisher, not easy to scale up from the TB crystal, too small of a target audience that would benefit from such a thing.

Not to mention the units would be 5.625k for the top and 1875 for the low end kabam wouldnt want to give out that kind of units even if they reduced the odds of getting them

Rule number one of these forums is NOT to talk about arena, period.

Arenas will not be buffed in any way shape or form, how they are now is how they continue to be until the servers shut down.
