Yes, one side can be a jerk in this because it's clear to see what the view point it is seeing pride and *specifically* pride gets you up in arms.
In short, you can say "hey, why don't we have other seasonal events like such?" Instead of making it a way to dog on Pride.

I think you're probably right. I see a lot of straight up slurs and hate and bigotry around this game (as well as a lot of really positive stuff), but that negative stuff isn't really on the forum that much, so it was unnecessary for me to include that. I did clarify what I meant, and I don't really understand why some people completely ignore that and continue to argue about it, but it is what it is.

Its important to consider that everyone has different religious views. For instance, there isnt mentions of it in the Bible/Quran etc so some may view it as being manmade etc. However someone without religious views may have different inclinations etc.
At the end of the day, we all need to be able to get along and not attack each other just because of what they believe in.
Its similar to politics, you may have friends that have different views than you but you still get along with them. You dont attack someone on the forums just because of what group they support. Just in this thread, a lot of people are dog whistling their true beliefs while pretending they just want other holidays to be celebrated. If anyone "disagrees" with pride, just don't comment.
