It's almost like AI 2.0 isn't what we need right now... Revamping the AI isn’t what we need now?
It's almost like AI 2.0 isn't what we need right now...
Can we talk about its latest trick? The AI can now stop its dash on command, intentionally whiff not where I might dex or side step but literally right in front of my parry or block attempt and whiff on command. Nothing quite like watching the AI purposefully whiff infront of me to avoid getting partied then faster than light speed follow up with a light to my face.
Welp, I guess we’re playing against real people now.

Any time you see it in Youtube or in your own rare recording do let us know. I faced some weired instances too.
Next step is the defender stopping in the middle of the fight, to drink a few healing potions.
I've noticed the AI can now start a dash and then stop then restart the dash. In addition to the "stutter step" that they do that we can't. They can also evade backwards without dexterity.
Anyone else noticed the AI is now more prone to dash back if it hits your block once?
So anyone noticed since this outrage the AI refusing to throw a heavy into your block? Every fight where I need the opponent to throw a heavy he just does multiple full combos into my block. This is especially game breaking for Enchantress fights, which are basically a guaranteed loss if she gets that spell.

I hate this new thing AI learnt now, "Hit block 4 times back away then hold block" So anyone noticed since this outrage the AI refusing to throw a heavy into your block? This is especially game breaking for Enchantress fights, which are basically a guaranteed loss if she gets that spell. I've noticed this happening from past 2 weeks, AI now does 4 hits into block, back away, immediately dash into 4 hits and repeat. For fun, I threw BG round to see how much of hits AI will throw before using heavy. 13, disgusting. But hey guys, we never touched AI 🤣AI 2.0 is coming tho, surely.
Further info to add.The engine is listening to screen taps before the fight starts. As a test, I repeatedly tapped the right side of the screen when loading a battle for an instant light attack, and on every fight I did this the AI immediately dashed back at the fight start and held block.
And you just know she'll be throwing that sp1 right after that perfect dex
I thought it was said that the AI doesn’t know what tools it has access to in regards to things like Parry and Dexterity, and that if it ever happens, it happens on accident. This is a little crazy for an accident…

This is a little crazy for an accident… This is not crazy at all in fact it's the exact situation I wrote about in my post that got closed. If you have a frame perfect button masher that can react in 1f then it's obvious it should be able to dex any kind of special in the game (other than the ones that need bespoke timing like an early dex). This is why I said the AI shouldn't be reacting to things in 1f (obvious if you think about it for a few seconds)...
