Rintrah interaction in AW

Why is Rintrah not getting any force charges in AW?
I'm using him on the node where the opponents get prowesses. He effectively neutralized every prowess, but I'm not getting any force charges.
I get the text Buff failed. But nowhere is ever mentioned these force charges are buffs. And they are not, because on previous AW I got them on Spidey 2099 who is also buff immune.

Am I missing something here, or is this again one of the many bugs (like always) in new content.

Neutralize doesn’t gain role charges on that node. Read the description between node one and node eight. It’s a tough format very unforgiving.

Neutralize is not an invalidate, nullify, stagger, or fate seal. It also isn't a buff immunity on the opponent either. That's why you're not gaining charges because you're not meeting any of the 5 criteria to get force charges.

But on the other hand why not just place every kind of preventing buffs. Stupid ass design

Try using another champion that removes buffs in other ways, including most mystics. Tech champs that remove prowess like Iron Man OG, Shocker, Ironheart, Nimrod, those should work too
