Resource hoarders of MCOC: Show me your hoards, and tell me why you hoard them 🙂

We know there are some Pack Rats of MCOC here. I'm one of them lol

We tend to hoard items for various reasons. Some players hoard with a goal in mind, while some "collect" because the items are rare or limited.

I'm both since I have a particular champion acquirement goal (7* CMM), a 7* shard goal (500,000 before/on 4th of July), and I try to be prepared for whatever Kabam throws in the game.

And some of these rare, resources feel like trophy items to me, that are too hard to let go of. Once used, I'll NEVER see them again lol. So I just like to keep in my "trophy case".

How about you? What have you hoarded and why?

I'm still growing the relic shards hoping that Kabam *sigh* at some point, add new relic champs.

I play kind of sporadically.
I didn’t realize paragon free crystals give full energy refills.
Been hoarding the crystals and using saved units for energy refills to finish monthly content, when I could just open those.

It literally shows on the crystals that is what you get.
Just my dumbass not looking proper.

I just going to make an assumption here and no judgement, I don't care who is FTP and who is not. I assume you buy the bundles, paragon/valiant crystals and get the 7*s from there. Therefore no real point to open the crystals, you know what you would get and most likely have it already, at least the ones you want.

Well everybody has their own reasons for doing it. This is about more than crystal shards though. It's about whatever the player wants to hoard. Some like to "collect" and keep the RARE items. As seen in my post, I still have 80% revives. Why? Because.....how often do you see them available in the game? NEVER. IF I ever need them for whatever reason, I got them! These were out before the 60% revives became more common.

A few years ago, there were 100% revives available to buy. They were part of a "Hulk Family" special bundle. Have you seen them since?

NOPE.

When I noticed that Kabam won't always have these awesome bundles, that made me start hoarding too lol. They are for Emergencies Only, and sometimes nostalgia. I like to reflect on when we used to have them. 🙂

As for the shards.....I mentioned who I was waiting on to enter the Titan or Basic...CMM. This was before this event.

as a f2p player that's the only unique (worthless) thing i have kept for almost 4 years i got others crystals too but they ain't unique btw i do it for fun....it's like memory of those days and event!!

Been almost a year and the stash has pretty much doubled, I started saving 7* shards recently as well for a mass opening off them, and then been saving relics to, got 140k 6* relic as well

How can you hold the 7 star shard I couldn’t. Do it

I hoarded 20+ 7* basic crystals before i just had a pretty decent roster i could do alot with so i decided to hoard them my goal at the time was to save tell my bday in feb but decided to open them just before the banquet event since the titan crystal turned over had some pretty good luck when i hoard things like crystal shards units etc if i dont have a goal in mind its not going to happen or atleast not for very long if i have a goal of why i am hoarding then its actually really easy for me to go through with it

Agreed "Pay+she+maca+co". The unique designs are pure artistic creativity and is specific to that champ! I would love to see more crystals that has some element of the champ that it's about, in the design 😍
