I have him duped… already dreading seeing him when I open my 2 saved titans.
Just zero excuse for him to be in there… those garbage pulls in the Titan should at least include 20 generic sig stones you don’t feel like it’s a total waste
Zero excuse? Except that's how new 7*'s get introduced. Trash opinion as always.
At least they should put good 7*s in the titan crystal. These crystals are among the most valuable in the game for a reason, and Red Hulk isn't even near close to the other champs in this pool (except for Joaquin)
Joaquin at least has the potential for a buff after they review him (and he desperately needs one). Rulk is just rulk and will always be Rulk. He just doesn’t belong in a Titan nor should anyone of his caliber or below
3 titans, 2 dupes on him. Thankfully, that Zola popped up. Hoping for a revalance, but that feels like it will be in 2028.
Close to another titan so we will see, and considering doing the ordeal in a few weeks for that Nexus. Hoping that one doesn't have rulk, Crit-monkey (already have him at r3), Torres, or spidey.
Got him multiple times out of a bunch of crystals. Never expecting anything good from Kabam softens the blow since it's obvious they have different rates for the good champs.

Kabam must really hate you then. I've opened at least 15 titans with red hulk and not gotten a single one.

I pulled him out of the last Titan so I get it. I was not thrilled with my pull today (Rintrah) not because he’s bad but I don’t need him on my roster. But after hearing your story I am ashamed of my disappointment. You have suffered OP and you have my deepest sympathies. He never should have been put in the Titan without a buff. He’s arguably the most out of date 7* perhaps tied with Venom The Duck. If I pulled him out of consecutive Titans I’d be more upset than is probably healthy for a reaction to a video game. But many of us don’t get Titans that often even as they become more common. The 7* basic pool is getting so big those pulls are often not exciting. The Titan is really where I get excited and champs like Rhulk are a huge let down. Good luck to you in the future.
They have to improve their RNG for new champs 90% (or) include more nexus 7* crystals in all events (or) abyss nexus 7* crystal time (or) 7* champ trade option.. Unless that average account like me gets only repeated champs.
Can't believe there are people trying to sugarcoat this garbage of a champ lmfao it's 2025 not 2016. A lot of these champs should not be released without a tune up, at least not in the Titan.

At this point I need therapy. Thanks for the kind words.
Only 1 person defending red hulk in this entire thread. At least you managed to dodge all those people that will come up with every reason under the sun why rulk is OP, or maybe they got tired of defending him 🤣🤣
I got Rulk early on and actually put in a gem (had multiple science gems) for war lane 9 and used him a few times just before the map change. Now i've pulled him 3 times.I do like him, just need some slight adjustments to bring him up to modern standards. Things like his immunity which isn't and removes Debuffs only.. needing resistance from his sigs. just some weird stuff that needs some cleaning up. Maybe switching up his sp2 and sp3.. having a damage payout on sp2 and sp3 for a regen makes more sense.
I do like him but just can't justify any use of him other than some rare war fights after the map change
He's like any other champ.. in the correct match up, he wins fights.. I've been using him successfully in AW Since 5 stars
He's outdated. He's not bad. Any champ can do well in the "right matchup". The game is clearly going on a direction where the champ is a defender or answers what the newer defenders' abilities are asking. He doesn't answer much and frankly in the science class he is near the bottom as far as 7* go. I respect your opinion but he does literally nothing for me. And most would agree that he needs a tune up.

Let me preface by saying, yes.. they should update him - so there's a chance you read through:) But I'll comment on this soon
Nah, the war fights he is good at are not "rare" lol.. but I'll talk about this as well At this point I feel like you guys are just inviting me to spam Rulk AW videos.. which I'd happily do 🤩
The reason he's not used in BGs (by other than a handful of people including myself) is simple.. BG game mode has basically made the community at large anti Recoil masteries, by default.. because of the scoring system change that occured early on (the change was made to address a design flaw in the scoring system, but it was done in the wrong way imo) And because of the current scoring system.. plus the fact that you cannot separate your attack and defend masteries as you can in AW, it essentially forces to players to not use Recoils if they want to compete seriously in the mode (though you can reach 200 pts, for example, with Recoil active - I do) Because of this there has been an surge in popularity for champs who spam specials and have a way to access good damage with a certain rotation (it almost always involves specials).. but when a champion kit relies on specials for damage and/or important utility.. if these champs are ever in a situation where you cannot throw specials freely or at the correct time, the user will cry because the champ will become hot garbage:)
There's a value in having your main source of damage simply from basic attacks.. no race to complete a certain rotation, no stress if the nodes or AI behavior or kits don't allow your specific rotation, etc.
Essentially, BGs (though basically referred to as a niche game made once in a post addressing why it hasn't been prioritized by Kabam recently) does influence the game.. it influences the community and whether a player is a top BGs player or not.. they watch top BG players on YouTube and are influenced by them.. and I think this is great, it creates excitement for the game, but it does help shape the criteria for whether a champ is "good" or not.. and I think this is hard to deny
Anyone who actually uses Recoil for all other modes in the game including War Attack (aside from a small handful of attackers who rely on intense special spam - as mentioned above).. will understand that's it's actually a more efficient build, but that's another unpopular opinion for a different thread.. though anyone who really plays AW seriously will be willing to do a mastery swap depending on their assignment anyway
To the point, I classify Red Hulk as a "War Attacker" .. and yes, a Recoil build War Attacker If you haven't ranked him up to a serious level.. or tried him on War Attack with Recoils active, you haven't really tested him out where he shines and it is hard for you to have an accurate understanding of his value.. for example, I've closed out a war fight in 13s before with him at R3 (he's now at 4).. yes, of course it was an ideal matchup.. but that's what War Attack is about lol.. choosing ideal matches
For one, he's a Science champ who doesn't rely on Debuffs and can actually choose not to Debuff the defender.. this is rare (think of the multiple nodes on the traditional war map that punish or disallow debuffs.. where people often place Mystic defenders)
While I think the ideal matches for him are more common than people think, yes.. I would refer to him as more of an "assassin" war attacker vs a "workhorse" attacker.. a champ you bring for 1-2 specific fights on your assignment and he absolutely crushes them with ease.. as opposed to a champ who has a super wide variety of matches they excell in.. it's two different types of war attacker and both are needed
But yeah, you can't take him at R1 to go fight Winter Soldier with Recoils off and make an accurate assessment of him as a champ 😂
Yes, I do think he should get an update.. of course, it's 2025 - Keep his identity as a Science champ who doesn't rely on Debuffs - make the SP2 actually do something (but keep his identity as not reliant on specials) - give him a way to increase his crit rate - choose any utility that makes him stronger against his target matches (Mystic and Energy champs) from a utility standpoint as opposed to just damage (though damage is utility) but a little more in line with 2025 - give him a way to toggle his sig ability from Physical to Energy resistance (but maintain the criteria that it's reliant on Heat charges)
But keep his identity in the process: - Science who doesn't rely on Debuffs - Doesn't rely on throwing specials for damage - XL champ who actually has a good heavy reach (anyone who plays XL champs competitively will understand the value in this)

Game is rigged fr 🤣
This has been the worst 6 Titans I've ever opened.
So angry
Also pulled him twice together with other trash.

It's not that he's bad - just that there's better.
From what I can tell, I need to…
Run recoil
Find opponents who are mystic or energy damage
Not be in a hurry to finish fights
I guess I just can’t see why I would bother with this unless he did something more unique. So I like some of your suggestions.
