Well, I do apologize for mistaking your original point, but I don't agree with the whole miscommunication argument either. They never said EVERY Champ would be in the selector. In fact, they specified they weren't going to divulge who. There are times when conclusions are the result of inaccurate information given. This isn't one of those times. Honestly, Torch isn't even released as a 7* yet, and he's going to be a big ticket item. It's not realistic to expect him to be in the selector.

Maybe let this go, even the person said it, agreed it was a "poor way to word".

However please remember that while Mike said it, there is a team that would review these scripts before the show, so it is not down to one person

I like Mike and I know this isn't intentional, and everyone make mistake, so let chalk it down to an mistake, which in this case does dampen the launch of the event a little.

Based on what Kabam have said how hard this content is and currently watching CCP doing it. I think the content could of done with an Exclusive champs rewards (or maybe at least a Selector something like Omega Day 6 champs).

Kabam can always send out a Solo Objective - Complete WoF within a month of releasing and get a Selector for Omega Day champ.

I'll be honest, I'm glad you recognize the way it was portrayed and stated was done poorly. It obviously has upset the passionate players. It's not the end of the world obviously but it did get hopes up.

My biggest issue which is for other players is not allowing 6* champs in the content basically restricting content to spenders which will create a greater divide in competitive modes like bgs.

I think the difficulty is perfect, I have almost every 7 star champ in the game so again this doesn't impact me at all but I have a lot of friends that just can't do the content due to unlucky rng with crystals. Gated content needs to be removed. 6*s with a hit counter or timer would be fair like in other everest content.

People need to vent but also not attack mods or devs. No one deserves that. What we do need is to voice our concerns so Kabam has the feedback to make adjustments. Don't take any negative comments personally people are just venting. Thanks for responding to posts.

They did however say “1 of 12 champions in the selector” and “the selector pool will be the defenders” and then they took the effort to specifically mention that the final boss wouldn’t be included. This means out of the 12 defenders, 12 of them are in the selector, you know, since that’s literally what they said. Except only 10 of them are in the selector. You should work for Kabam the way you’re trying to twist the words to fit your explanation 🤣

The second half of this statement is interesting. I assume quest being finished means they locked down the nodes, health pool, and champ pools, before the rewards were designed. This then brings into question what was the rewards design philosophy. Crashed admitted this was known to be one of the hardest pieces of content ever, yet the rewards don’t reflect that. Did the team that designed the rewards intentionally sandbag or was the difficulty of the quest not fully known?

I think this is getting out of hand.
The livestream crew does the best they can; if you watch, there are tons of moving parts, technical difficulties, last minute changes, etc.
I know people are upset about the bigger changes in the game, like the paywalled BG champs, and Torch being at the center of both issues serves as a lightning rod (and Thor Rags for that one guy).
But the livestream guys aren't the ones deciding the financial direction of the game; they're just the ones who get the reward of interacting with all the complaints.
