Is event locked fam one of better options for the fight? I believe I even said that I expected it to be the case sometime ago here in forums. But maybe you used him and because of that easy fight turned out to be that long? In that case I'd be humbled and would have to admit kabam is not that greedy

Because it's still content. And rewards are still rewards at the end of the day. But overall, the fights themselves and the restrictions make the content very difficult, and the rewards should reflect that difficulty. It's fair to say the rewards do not reflect that. But again, rewards are still rewards, and everyone wants to acquire them.

Fr. Story content that is months old by now still has better rewards than “the most difficult and challenging content the contest has ever seen”. Epoch has better rewards, especially once you factor in all the rank up gems and hundreds of 7* sig stones, and it is able to be completed by any player with skill and a good roster. Some of these fights have one or maybe two usable champions and many of them are titan or event exclusive, like void. Spiral was the only decent option for the serpent fight and she a recent release that’s still in the titan pool

I'm just confused why they are still putting out gated content after saying they wouldn't anymore. I don't think this content is super hard but you have to have a big 7* roster. If you don't then yes this will be very hard. So I'm confused why lower level accounts are being punished.

This is the big thing for me. “The most difficult content the contest has ever seen” except every single fight is EASILY soloable IF you just so happen to have the one single counter we’re allowing you to use. If not, 30 revives and screw you

It’s so restrictive, not rewarding much..there is no point of completing this quest unless you have the champs that are 7 stars.. it’s just not fun element and worst designed mode ever!! Not going to play this and spend any units on revived. !!!! pathetic from Kabam !!!!!

I play this game these days (10 year vet) mostly for the end game content. This is not it. Honestly, maybe if I could enter the quest but still be able to enter monthly quest, side quest, etc. so that I could do a fight when I have time, I would give it some leniency, but having to plow through these slog fights is not enjoyable.

Yeah 13 30 minute fights while not being able to do side quests, EQ, daily quests, other end game content etc is pretty unacceptable. We’re locked in to a minimum 3 hours but most likely more if you don’t have every single exact perfect counter. Also, why are they including champs that just simply CANT do a fight in the available champs. Like for the gorr fight having champions that don’t place debuffs and don’t stop, reduce, or even reverse healing, as well as not being able to get rid of the regen buff itself. Is this just a giant prank by Kabam?

Yea this content is bad and not even a tad fun or creative , should fire whoever came up with it. And I’m an endgame player but the rewards don’t match the stupidity of the event. Deff should boycott July 4th sales

I think the issue Kabam has is ROL initially took months to complete. LOL, was a massive chore and if you look back it was recommended to have 3k-5k of units for an initial clear.

I do think it’s hard for kabam to make true Everest content that isn’t blitzed in hours after its released. But if the way they want do is through a restrictive design that can only be completed with specific champions, they need really future proof the rewards properly and make worth the champion chase. I believe 4th July sales starts in 16 days. The sale and unit deals are likely going to dwarf the rewards from this quest. It just feels oddly designed and oddly placed with the backdrop of a big sale coming up.

Honestly one black panther offer is most likely going to be equivalent to the first two quests here combine from what we’ve seen recently. The most difficult content Kabam has ever released. Aspirational content you literally have to build your account around, and the rewards are outdated before it was even released. Make that make sense

There are multiple issues here. The rewards aren’t great, the tags are inconvenient and restrictive. But most of all, I think the design of the individual fights is bad. I don’t know how to design something well with nodes, defenders, etc etc. But some hard fights are a lot more fun than others. These aren’t very entertaining and that irks me more than the mediocre rewards or annoying champ requirements.

I don't necessarily hate this content but I hate the tags chosen. It isn't a roster check per say more of an RNG check.

Just 1 champ chosen I'm going with gorr for quest 2 as an example. If you don't have void your pretty much screwed.

Adam, maw, wong, spot, Platinumpool, blade, Mr negative, moondragon, killmonger, fury, capiw, deadpool, nightcrawler, vision ark, void, ultron prime, and yelena, who fit the tag.

Maybe wong can do it but with gorr being bleed immune (which isn't a bad thing because of more regen) and no Synergies for say capiw most of that pool is useless. So no void you are trapped in a revive dump that can be a hard stall.

This content would be ok if the tags chosen for the fights actually can do those fights with skill. The fact you really need that one in the tag or you're stuck is the problem.

I will ignore this content, as I am happy to rank any champ, as I rank all sorts of champs that I want for a specific counters, but there is nothing I can do to get that certain champ I need to do stuff, like my example of void.

I see what Kabam was trying to do re: rosters, but they missed the mark here.

If they really wanted a quest to allow people to use their full 7* rosters, they could have put multiple champ gates on a path (e.g. BWDO, Storm PX, Iron Man, Mysterio etc) and had multiple paths, so that people with big rosters can smash through it on day 1, but people with small rosters would have to wait.

If you then pulled 7* Mysterio, instead of going "ahh noo he sucks," you could go "ah finally, now I have all the champs needed for that path in WoF."

It would at least soften the blow of some of the rubbish 7*s and allow you to slowly tackle a new path as you get new champions over several months or years.

Just an idea though!

Guys, now that I've gotten a chance to sleep on this, I think I've got a little more clarity on this situation with this new content.

Everything about this scenario is awful. The content, the rewards, the failed communication, the lack of reasonable response to our concerns aside from the selector...in 6 years of playing these are the worst almost 24 hours of the game from every aspect.
If the Everest content conversations in the office are going to start with, "remember how terrible Act 6 used to be? What if we made it worse", then we're not going anywhere anytime soon.
This all sucks and I have never been more demotivated by the choices they've made with this game.

By more clarity I just meant I was more solidified in the objective fact of this being a massive swing and a miss.

Also, how in the world has Mike been abandoned to deal with us on his own? Feels bad.

Correct me if I’m wrong but if something is called “Aspirational Endgame Content” it gives you two impressions:

1) it should as act as content that makes you want to try Endgame Content. But how can something so restrictive do that?

2) it should be a step below Endgame Content if it’s aspirational, so why does it feel more restrictive and difficult than other pieces of Endgame Content?

Not to mention how @Karatemike415 said there would be a 12 champion selector, but it turns out to only be 10. Leaves a bad taste all around

While good to know my statement still stands. Out of the 17 champs with the tag but only 2 can do it is a flaw. It would be a different story if i could target that champ but rng is a thing.

Please someone prove me wrong and show me a blade or killmonger or deadpool solo. Really just sticking with that fight because 1st in the line so you can keep trying over and over till you get it.

The biggest problem with the tag restrictions is that you're either using r1 or r2 unduped champs for some, or a bunch, because they are the only counters to the fight, or you're waiting until you get them duped or ranked higher. By the time that comes around, the rewards will be outdated and there will be no motivation to go through the quest. The name of the quest should really be changed to Wheel of Fail.

I really appreciate the 1% and I actually feel really for these 1%.

Spending 10 - 20 mins per fights for 16 times, and rinse and repeat 3 times all just for what they can get with ease with most sale event.

These poor Mythics ans Celestial players, spending 8 plus hours to clear this content and hating it, even with the massive accounts.

So if Kabam is design content for the 1% could they make it a bit more enjoyable and worthwhile for them.

So far I haven't seen a single 1% player enjoy doing this content yet.
