Now game begin to be an entertainment. Yes this new style AW is quick and don’t take all my day . I can play 5 minutes or 15 minutes and finish it .
Really Kabam did the best choice about aw this year with this . I appreciate this war and many new people come to play this new style war … so more people play now .
+ Quick , don’t busy, don’t take all my days , some nodes challenges , we don’t wait others players, etc… Kabam should continue

Time is money and the less time that has to be wasted in a game, the better.
I could think of alot of things I would rather do in a game than have to spend hours planning every war, hence why our ally never pushed war. Do your fights and be done, with a few of us taking care of mini islands and bosses on top of our lanes.

This season has brought a spark into our ally like I've never seen before, because you don't have to spend hours planning everything. 10 people, one fight each, figure out who has the best counters for each defender/node combination and done.
Kabam, why not make it like raids where you can choose between war maps for the season?

Make some of the nodes easier. Like I know I suck at the game but I don't like using 7+ revives just to beat a champion

Same here, my alliance retired from wars about a year and a half ago after getting into Plat for the first time because the time and resource investment required simply wasn't paying off and it was too much. This season however, we've started doing wars for the first time since and we've been having a blast. Not as time consuming anymore when assigning paths, defender placement also not nearly as annoying as it was, and the fights themselves have all been incredibly fun because of how the nodes work. I'm aware some nodes are very restrictive but for the level we're at so far, it's been a lot of fun even if it's just one fight every two days.
I really do hope they keep this design whether it's new AW or a completely different mode or whatever, I just love the design itself.

But they should change certain nodes or restrict champs to be placed in certain nodes to avoid very limiting matchups (mainly node 1 and node 3)

The problem isn't with the format imo, it's the same defenders (Onslaught, Serpent, Enchantress etc.)
Also, some defenders being too OP on Node 1 & Node 3 was annoying.

If you didn't have to fight LDS on node 3 without having a Warlock, you were fortunate.

To be fair those defenders will always be in every mode tho, regardless of what the mode is.

This format is basically high risk/high reward
Choose your attacker and playstyle correctly and you're rewarded with a solo and no items used
Choose poorly or play incorrectly and it can be punishing

Those are the 2 nodes that were nerfed though?

When I read the announcement.. I was pretty sure I would hate, but I've grown to like it actually
There's a few positive things.. planning well pays off
It removes the dynamic where some players take 3-4 minis and others take 1 (relieves the stress on the items of the players who take more)
The simplicity is nice.. yes, there are some tough placements, but team selection process is much simpler.. you have one job to do and can focus on that job

Never fought a LDS on 3 yet, but why would you be doing that without a warlock? Out of the 10 members in your BG, nobody owns a warlock?
Also, wouldn't sentinel work with sp1 spam?
I know she heals from specials when she has armour but his sp1 not only has heal block, but also Armour break.

Worst fight for me yet was sassy on node 3 pre nerfed node.
I had no idea about his anti regen reversal thing so I went in with Void naturally and of course timed out after taking a whopping 22% out of him in 5 minutes 🤣
Luckily had nefaria with me as well and nefaria wrecked him after that, but that was a death with Void due to the timeout 😭

We actually got accused of cheating and got reported for cheating (this was all in discord somewhere) in that war because "that fight was impossible with the team I had" according to the leader of the ally and the "masters planners" they had apparently asked.
It was hilarious smashing them in that war and winning.

Format is horrendous, logic would tell you to at least extend the fight timer, but we are dealing with kabam.

Yeah...there's a silver lining to that btw, we actually won some wars on diversity 😁

It was our 2nd or 3rd war, and I joined on the 2nd day. Everyone else had already done a fight each, or doing it.
Also, just tried that matchup in practice mode, doesn't work. Sentinel inflicts armor break on the 2nd hit of sp1. The nanobots are already active by then.

Didn't know Nefaria works against Sassy, might come in handy.
Can't remember the last time I saw the word "Armour" 😅

The new format will destroy many alliances bcos it's so easy to single out weak players

I will be forced to kick weak players if the new format comes back again

Keep voting and let Kabam know what you prefer after playing for almost a season

To be fair, I wasn't sure if he was gonna work either, I just happened to bring him as backup in case I died with Void.
I timed out and figured out sassy's weird anti regen reversal ability (I had never read that part of hit kit before then) and had to go in eith Nefaria and it worked.

And "Armour" is how we spell it up here in canuckia. Hahah

I love this new style AW. Don’t take many times. Fun and challenging.
Kabam can you propose us (like raids) if we want play new style AW or old ? So we can chose what we want play .
