Special Champs Release Schedule

I would love to understand what the schedule is for releasing the Omega Days champs, Heart of Fire, Saga chase, etc. if anyone could share that would be great.

At this point after a year of omega days the schedule who knows when things like them events or saga chases enter as its even been a year since nightcrawler so i guess really its just wait and see til they enter there be a pop up

There is no schedule. They release when kabam wants to release them

My theory is this:
Somewhere in Kabam's office they have a bingo setup for each champion. Each bingo cage has 100 balls in it. 99 of them say "no" and the last one says "yes". Once a month they go to each of the bingo cages and pull out a ball. When the "yes" ball for that champ finally comes out, they will be released.

I will say I’m a little surprised we haven’t gotten Omega Day champs and early chase champs from Sagas like Nightcrawler and Captain Marvel in the basic yet. I think we have a chance at seeing them added around July 4th deals but if it doesn’t happen then, we won’t see any of them enter the crystal until Holiday 2025.

Chase champs haven’t been released because i believe they have a content set to release that will feature all chase champs from last year as eligible champs. So until thats over they’ll probably wait a few more months and then put them into the basic. As for the omega days, no clue why they’re being so stingy with it.

I highly doubt omega days or hearts of fire get added to the basic for a long time. There's only so many great characters that are 6 star locked left to release so I feel like they're gonna keep these 2 pools exclusive to these crystals for a while and just bring the crystals back every now and then

My guess, and it's a wild one, is that eventually we will have a 7* Radiance crystal similar to how we have Loyalty and Incursions 7* crystals. Probably will be more expensive than everything else in the store even the mastery point, something like this would push people to grind even more and give the Radiance store even more value than it currently has and it already has a lot value as is. It's either that or who knows how long til they're in the Titan or basics, I don't think they will be in basics until we're a little past r5 7* tho.

I'd honestly rather that than waiting for two years for them to come to basics or Titan. They could just make a Radiance crystal with every champ from every sale or saga and then just limit it to one crystal a month, I whaled out on HoF and got everyone and I wouldn't have any issues with this.

Can you address the main question in the post? Or at least say "I can't speak on this" or "we have no plans currently". It's a little frustrating when you comment on a post and ignore the big question completely. Red guardian and nick fury are two of my favorite champs, I have no idea if I will ever get to use them in current day high end content ever again... its disheartening.

If there isn't a timeline it's because there aren't plans. People still complain that stuff from the roadmaps released in 2020 haven't been done even though they said they were just possible goals, they've already said that it's better to not give estimate dates that they won't meet because it means that people will just get mad when they inevitably don't meet them

It’s a question of having a well defined release schedule that people can expect. Say one year from when it came in a special event or crystal, it gets added to basic crystal.

It’s a question of having a well defined release schedule that people can expect. Say one year from when it came in a special event or crystal, it gets added to basic crystal.
