We don't ignore any feedback; we read everything said on all Social channels.

Wheel of Fate has been out for less than 1 week. At this time, there are no plans to update Wheel of Fate.
There are going to be times when certain content isn't widely loved by the entire Community.
It has been received very well from the group of players that I expected to enjoy it.

    This is incredibly insulting.

Niche content for a select group of players is absurd when you have a player base as wide as Kabam does.

I’m saying this as a player that did that horrific content 100%, simply because I had resources burning. That whole experience was trash, the rewards for it sucked. Complete miss by the team and their response was even more off. They are virtually saying, we look at stats and gather feedback from a select group of players, outside of that everyone can pound sand.

    Great customer service. Smh
I don’t know how you can respond to a comment saying that we look for feedback from all players in all sorts of places, and say it’s insulting we only gather feedback from a “select group of people.”

There are players who enjoy restrictive, difficult, and painful content that challenges both their roster width and their skill set.

That may not be the majority of the members of the forums, but those players exist - and occasionally, content needs to be designed in that style for them as well. This content is always optional, and not put into the Story mode, or any other piece of content that will make or break a player’s progression if they ignore it.
What about content for the majority of the players?? You keep shoving Longform content down our throats with Necropolis and ****, hell even at one point you made Necropolis THE Big deal, that EVERYONE should do regardless of whether they want to or not, I personally hate long form content, hate how long it takes and how much revives go down the drain for it and I hate that It gets normalized so much that "oh you are valiant you should have done this by now, are you even an endgame player".
95% of the content in this gigantic game is designed for the majority of players.

Necropolis, your other example, was released in 2023. If you aren’t doing content like Necropolis, you aren’t an “endgame player” - and that’s perfectly okay.
There were additional community rewards attached to completing Necropolis because it was a fun thing to do. Everyone can play the way they want to play, nobody has to play anything.

Nah this guys trying to get Employee Of The Month by saying nearly all the right things and he’s using my thread to do it. I don’t know how to feel about this. 🤔

The quest is still gonna be outdated in a few months and there won’t be any reason for anyone to play it only for the rewards… if it’s meant to be content that holds value over a long time… it’s the opposite of that.

Making rewards relevant far into the future is also something that's difficult to consistently make happen...

Maestro holds down the fort in Necropolis, but that isn't something that can be done in every quest that's released, especially as we're increasing the frequency of popping out Endgame Content.
But you have radiance currency now, that you can update the store.
Wasn't that the purpose of radiance?
    Use it.
    No.

    Radiance is for competitive content.
Wheel of Fate is not competitive content.
I'm probably not remembering this correctly but isn't radiance meant to serve as a general resource through which all the repeated ad multiple reward resources are consolidated into one.

And it wasn't specified to be only for competitive game modes alone since they are the first modes they will be introduced in?

So is the plan for radiance not going to replace aq or even side quest anymore?

It has been added to aq.

I’m glad Kabam made it for the 1% of the player base that they thought would enjoy it… but most endgame players hate it considering the overwhelmingly negative feedback, so I don’t understand who the target audience was for this.

Either way, I appreciate that you gave an answer. No update it is then I guess.

Have you talked to "most endgamers"? Most of the people who are complaining here on the forums about it aren't endgame players. How many is "most" that you've personally talked to?
I have no problems with the fights, it's the restrictiveness I have a problem with, (had) I haven't touched it, or the game in a few days.

To go along with another post I've been discussing in about paywalled champions... a great way to future proof rewards would be to put at least one "new" 7 star (old champion, new as a 7 star) in every piece of endgame content. And keep that locked as the only way to get said champion forever. It maintains a unique way to acquire champs without paywalling them, and you truly have to aspire and work towards getting your favorite champion.

This would be how I would prefer they make champions exclusive instead of 1 week window big unit or cash spend and then gone forever. Stark Spidey, Masacre, and Spidey 2099 are perfect examples. I wish they would've kept moving forward with those kind of 7 star releases. To this day, the two champs I chose are the most future proofed rewards I've ever gotten. They were also the hardest to get, yet most aspirational and satisfying rewards I've ever gotten from this game.

@Kabam (Osaurus) Rex what are your thoughts on this? Is this sentiment widely reflected in your data? Is this a release strategy that could come back?

I personally do really like this idea a lot.
You would be trading one set of complaints for another, but then again all game design decisions have that particular element of pick your poison.
Go on… what do you think that new complaint would be?
The new set of complaints would be:

    1. Now I'm forced to do that content even though the only reward I want is a champ locked behind it.
    2. Now I can't get the champ at all because it is locked behind content I don't do.
    3. And why are you giving the whales X instead, because that reward is going to have to be replaced with something else, and given the rarity of locked champs, if it is something that isn't exclusive, it would have to be extremely valuable otherwise. That's why exclusive champs are used in that way: their relative value replaces a lot of what would otherwise be more arithmetic power increases overall.

I'm pretty sure I'm not saying anything Kabam doesn't already know. This is so obvious, in fact, I didn't originally think I needed to list them out at all.
There’s always gonna be somebody complaining but I’m willing to bet those woulda been minority opinions rather than a majority opinion of disappointment, which is what we got.
    No, they're all minority opinions.
