Wonder if we'll ever get anything to spend our gold on.... A gold store would be ideal, but even some gold offers again would be nice.

Gold used to be a problem for me, especially early in Valiant progression, you need a ton of it to rank up 7 star champs. But once you build a solid roster, that changes.

Eventually, you stop ranking up champs regularly and only upgrade specific ones you’re missing, usually during big events like the 4th of July. After that, gold becomes pretty much useless.

Right now, I’m sitting on around 140 million gold, and I honestly don’t think I’ll ever think about gold again. Even after a big spree where I ranked up 4 champs to R4, 3 to R3, and several others to R1 and R2, I barely noticed any drop in gold, same with ISO.

I don't know why you think it's useless, but I like having a comfortable stash and not having to constantly grind for it when I need it.

Wait until you start taking champs to r5 and r6. You're going to be wishing for that gold.

I mostly mean worthless as in there's no incentive to work for it or buy it for a lot of people. It's practically a valueless resource in the game, but if they gave us something worthwhile to spend it on, then it would incentivize those with large reserves to start managing and seeking it again.

[X] gold for [basically anything useful] would make everyone that didn't have the gold whine that Kabam should make some allowance for the people with <[X] gold, and that Kabam should have (1) told everyone multiple times across all media and in game exactly how much gold they would need months in advance and (2) also pretty much give them the gold, and the whole thing would also somehow be a slap in the face to ftp players. I doubt they want to deal with that again.

Have every 3 and 4 minus a few trophy champs at max sig. Have all but 20ish each 5 and 6*s. Over half of each at max sig. Constantly opening dupes gets extra shards for more dupes and a ton of iso. Sell more iso then I could ever use. Currently bouncing around between 310-330 mil gold depending on when I am ranking up champs

Yeah, I'm still bummed out about that since I had a ton of gold to spend (still do at 400m). Kind of pathetic that Kabam allowed that whining to effect future deals.

By opening 4*, 5,* and 6* crystals and getting dupes turns into ISO, which can be sold for gold. Lol and I stopped doing unecessary rank ups.

When was this? Kabam is always going to get backlash about something. That's just the nature of the game and business. They got backlash about that lame ass banquet and more. There is going to always be something that won't work for every single player. But instead of not doing an event again, they should improve it.

The banquet was lame.
There was one event back in the day, my memory might be failing but I think it was the same trade event for AGs.
People complained about not enough gold and not enough AGs to trade and so on. 3 or 4 years ago I think?

There was one event back in the day, my memory might be failing but I think it was the same trade event for AGs.

A lot of us have plenty of gold now, so it might be worth reconsidering. As long as Kabam have them at a reasonable trade-in price

It doesn't matter how much is out there. They could bring back the event for 5 million gold or 50 million gold. People who don't have either will rage regardless and ruin it for the rest.

I don't know about anybody else, but I would definitely buy SOME 7* stuff if the price was reasonable to me.

No, the problem is that there is TOO MUCH gold out there in people's accounts for Kabam to make any sort of Gold store or offer. THAT'S the issue.

And if they do make a Gold store, they would have to put such an exorbitant price on some things, that they would either not really sell, and would be out of reach for others who don't have much gold. It would further highlight the divide between the game's Have's and Have Nots....which in turn would lead us back to the backlash and complaints.
